Okay so this is the most perfect bed base I've literally ever dealt with. I cannot believe this is not the standardized requirement for all bed bases. I have some weird hangups about box springs, so I knew I was in the market for a platform-style bed. I didn't want to deal with something super huge like an all-wood construction, and slatted wood stuff from ikea felt like it'd be too flimsy. I'm not planning on living in my apartment for the rest of my life, and I wanted something I could pack up and take with me. Enter the Casey Metal Frame. First, setting it up took maybe 15 minutes, tops, and I did it by myself. Second, the height is incredible. The ability to store things under my bed is *amazing.* I live in a studio loft and storage is at a premium, so the extra space under the bed is incredible. Last and most importantly -- this thing is solid as all getout. It doesn't creak, it doesn't squeak, it doesn't wiggle. It feels as sturdy as laying the mattress on the floor itself. I absolutely love the heck out of this bed base, and I feel like it gets a lot of airflow which I hope will help extend the life of my mattress. As a bonus, my roomba has zero problems cleaning under it as well. So yeah. I love it. It's solid and I have no complaints.

The best purchase I've made regarding a bed frame in a long time. My previous bedframe the slats would constantly fall, with this one me and one my daughters put it together in about ten minutes or less including reading instructions. I am 5ft 6 and weight about 300lbs and the frame support my weight with no problem and there is plenty of storage I am able to stack 2 of underbed containers on top of each other and I can place 3 sets of 2.

Bought this for my son's apartment, which means he needs more storage space! Great idea to make it high profile for underneath storage. Since it could be folded (that's how it came), he could get it upstairs and around the corner. This was the problem with his original bed frame, it wouldn't go around the corner so he couldn't even get it into his bedroom.

This bed frame comes completely assembled, you only have to turn down the legs and attach screws. The bed frame is not Hollywood style which makes it comfortable. Super nice.

I love this High-Profile Smart Base Platform Bed Frame. The fold up design provides easy set-up but also flexibility for easy cleaning or rearranging of my bedroom in the future. I also discovered that ordering two XL twin frames to match my new twin XL mattresses achieved the king size bed I loved but the flexibility to divided them if I choose that layout. This is a big plus for a 77-year-old lady who doesn't always have help handy to do these tasks. The bed frame's height and design eliminated the need for boxes springs and also provides easy access to the additional storage area under the base. This is great for storage of out of season clothing, shoes or whatever, and easy access when needed. The platform frame does have a tendency to allow the mattress to slide so I added a large full-length sheet of the rubber shelf liner on top of the frame and under the mattress which solved this issue. Yes, it is more expensive doing the above set-up, but the flexibility, additional storage capability and easy of setting up/moving these frames are well worth the investment. Additionally, after a month of use and comfortable rest I'm still in love with it!

The frame arrived in good shape and in good time. The box was punctured, but the frame was fine except for some added dust. It's easy to assemble just unfolding the legs, loosening a wing nut and flipping a small latch and retightening the wingnut x 4. Set the 2 halves next to each other and use 2 bolts to attach them together. We replaced another foldable metal frame with only 6 inches of clearance to the floor with pieces that slide together and it rattled when I jumped into bed. This bed is more solid than that one and makes no noise! To me it feels sturdier than the previous frame we had. The clearance beneath on our carpet (very thick padding) is about 16 1/2" which is tall enough for all but our tallest plastic bins. We found that the 70 quart sterilite containers fit very well (can fit 4 to a side) with about 2 inches of clearance on top and maybe an extra inch between the legs. The only downside was for my wife as the mattress ended up being 2 inches higher than the previous frame with the box spring.

These are heavy iron, not dentable aluminum, and are great mattress supports, sturdy, yet lightweight and foldable for storage if not using, or when moving. I previously purchased a queen, and another twin. The 18 inch high hold regular size storage bins underneath, which is an awesome space saving feature. Be careful to ensure you're purchasing a reinforced style, as this is, vs. another brand which isn't quite as sturdy, note the side bars on top instead of having the wire go all the way across. This makes a HUGE difference in the quality and strength.

18 inches off the floor and mattress slides around a bit. Holes kind of lined up they needed a little persuasion with a hammer but I finally got it together… other than that it's ok slides around a bit needs rubber feet instead of the hard plastic also needs a mat to keep the mattress from sliding.

I bought this for our king sized bed. Overall we love it. The height is perfect. You can easily store things under the bed. It also seems to be very sturdy. The only downside is the mattress slips down while you sleep and pillows can fall in between the wall and the mattress. This is frustrating. I wish it held the mattress in place better. Otherwise we are happy with the purchase.

We bought this frame to setup in our living room for our daughter who broke her leg since she was unable to go up and down the stairs to her bedroom. The mattress never stayed put on the frame, too risky for an already injured person to try to use frequently throughout the day. Had to return it.
