Love these knives!

I typically love Viking products, but after only a couple months of use, a knife from this set broke while cutting a block of cheese. We did not use these knives every day, so we were shocked to see how the knife just bent & broke while cutting cheese (which was not hard). We did not have any other issues with these knives so it could have been a defective knife, but were disappointed. Ended up bringing the set back to Sam's Club (thank goodness for their easy return policy!) bc we did not want to have an uneven set. Will plan to go back to J. Henckel's knives bc we have always had better luck with this brand.

As someone who loves and is truly passionate about food and cooking, having a great set of knives is key. After trying many other brands, nothing beats these Viking knives. They are super sharp but also have the perfect weight for more precise chopping. For anyone who needs to update their old dull set - I would only recommend Viking.

I just bought this set. It is sharp. But a handle of one of the knives is cracked. I washed all the knives before using them and the blades showing change of the colors. I hand washed them and dried them with paper towel as soon as I can, but was not good enough. I am considering returning them to Sam. They could be a good set of not more than half the price.

Really nice set! I previously bought one for me and this purchase was as a gift.
