This is a wonderful knife set. I had a Calphalon folded steel set before the move, and selected this set based on aesthetics and price. It does not disappoint! Cuts great, looks amazing on my counter. It's everything I wanted & needed!

Oh my!!! These knives are the truth. Not going to lie... I thought these knives would be the type that look good in the kitchen but wouldn't meet the expectations on performance...WRONG! These are way better than some of the high ends that's out. They did not disappoint. These Bad Boys need a 10 star rating.

I have been looking to replace my current knife black that I had for 16 years and came across this Viking set. After reading other reviews and shopping around and I decided to purchase it from Sam's since this was the best price for these Professional knives and I am truly satisfied that I did purchase it. So far it has held up to it's description. I only had less than a month but I have used it quite a bit. As long as you take care of your knives and do not put them in your dish washer like they suggest, these knives would last a lifetime!

Bought these knives online was afraid because I had not seen them in store but was very pleased with them. Knives are well made have a good feel to them .

We needed an upgrade and after much research I decided on these. The six steak knives are a good weight and the handle fits nicely in your hand. The other knives are all sharp and equally comfortable to use. You must hand wash these in order to prevent rust or damage. Well worth the extra effort. Love these!

The set contains the knives you would use regularly and they are SHARP. The only drawback is it recommends you hand wash them although they can go in the dishwasher. Most of your higher end knives do recommend the hand washing so that wasn't a deal breaker for me.

Knowing the Viking brand I was quite disappointed with this knife set. It’s a nice set for novice at home cooks to begin with. The steak knives and scissors are useful but the rest of the set, for my use is pretty much useless.

Taking Back- the knife slots were not drilled all the way so the knives did not fit. Quality wasn’t what I was expecting from Viking. Disappointed.
