Constantly drops Wi-Fi connection even though it shows I have excellent connection when checked. I have no other issues with anything connected to my wife except this brand of Roku. Poor picture quality when it will stay connected for more than 5 minutes. I am returning this product. Do not waste your money.

The sticky pad to stick to the TV doesn’t work and we have to reinstall the roku randomly, after it disconnects or unpairs (without being unplugged or the wifi going out, I have dog and security cameras connected to wifi that would let me know if it went out.) with the tv and I have to resign in and reload everything from my living roam tv with roku?

Bought two of these for my house (Roku Express) and neither one of them picked up the 5G signal and couldn’t connect at all. Customer service told me to reset my modem. I did that four times. Nothing. Moving to amazon fire stick. Don’t waste your money if you have good internet

first the good. cheap. easy to install (mostly see below). easy to use. good assortment of content BUT - my biggest gripes: - voice doesn't work. how in the world of smart home devices and prevalence of the use of voice, can this feature be so broken? the alexa skills claim to work but is super faulty. same w/ google voice assistant. i just want to be able to do things like turn on, off, and play content on my voice! why? - why am I asked so many questions when I install? i'll figure out all this stuff later. or at least allow me to skip all these questions about what I watch

If you’re looking for something to last more than a year, try a different company. The Roku express worked great for the first few months. But, then I started having consistent issues with it staying connected to the wifi. And now that I’ve had it for a year or so, it’s not connected to the internet more often than it is. I’ve tried restarting it, resetting my router, completely resetting the Roku device. Nothing works. When my phone, laptop, and desktop are all connected to the wifi, there’s clearly something wrong with the device. I’d say get one of the more expensive models and maybe you’ll have better luck. But with the performance of the Roku express, I don’t trust them to be any better.

I have two Roku products, the Express and the Streaming Stick. The features that Roku offers are amazing, so many choices. BUT, support is dismal. I cannot contact them by chat or phone, and although the website say to email them, an email address is not provided. I tried the email address from an email Roku sent to me, and it was returned as it is an address that does not accept incoming mail.

I'm pretty sure we've had this Roku Express for a year, worked great now it won't connect to the internet even though the internet works fine and the Roku is very close by. I've reset it, factory reset it, restarted Roku and Router and nothing. Again, internet work perfectly fine but, doesn't pick up on Roku. Used to work really well, internet wise but now it doesn't work with the internet at all. Bummed

Stopped working out of the blue. Restarted the product and router. Nothing. Reset network settings and entered password. Nothing. Full factory reset. Nothing. It can detect my router just fine but cannot connect. AND GET THIS! When trying to contact customer service for this it says: There is no agent support available for your product and/or issue. Awful product. Yes, I’ve reviewed all of the “articles”.

I have a model 3700X. I purchased this fairly recently. I like the product. However, I just learned AppleTV as well as PeacockTV are unavailable for this model. I have been unable to find a fix for this issue... I cannot recommend a roku device to anyone. FYI. Customer service is a blog site.

After half an hour, three device reboots, and five attempts to open Disney + which made the app disappear from the grid at one point, I finally got to the content only to have the program time out and tell me "something went wrong". Worse, this has become normal, so now I can't watch any of the services I am paying for. Roku was too cheap to make a bigger case or add a heat sink for heat mitigation, and definitely too cheap to put a proper WiFi receiver in them. How about a network jack instead so I don't have to put up with logins and wonky connections that randomly decide not to work? I bought three Rokus and regret that decision. Never again.
