I've been buying these at a local chain for several years and this is a much better value. I agree, that some reject get into the bag but I've not seen roasted peanut bag that didn't have them. But also remember, we are talking about peanuts not caviar. So as fellow peanut snob, my only wish would be that they carry the Hickory Smoked/ Roasted as well -my fave- and still worth the extra trip to the regular grocery store.

I really enjoy unsalted peanuts but these particular nuts will not be purchased again. Many of the nuts are old and stale with an off putting taste. I’m not sure why the quality of the nuts is so poor. The peanuts that were good were very tasty and fresh.

My bag arrived 5/21/22 with an expiration date of 8/18/22 and they were so stale I couldn't eat them. VERY disappointed. Sam's Club seems to make a habit of shipping out almost past dated items, because this isn't the first time I've received either past dated or almost past dated food items. Very disappointed...

We're a low salt diet household. These are really good. I had to dock them a star because most of the chips are on the smaller side, at least in this bag. So if you're a dipper, they're not easy to dip. My husband doesn't care for dip, so he's satisfied with these. A good value for the price.

I've been buying these for a few years now with no complaints, mostly to feed backyard critters. Much more economical than feed stores. They can't get enough of them! A bit cheaper than my local grocery store. We snack on them as we cannot have the salted variety.

I have bought these peanuts twice and both batches seemed to be a low grade of peanuts. A large percentage were broken or with open ends, discolored, small, or with shriveled hard nuts. The percentage that were good did have good taste however. Considering the quality these are not a great value for human consumption, but would be good for wildlife. The package boasts about commitment to providing the best peanuts, but in my opinion they cannot be considered best.

This 5 lbs. bag of peanuts is very disappointing. They are under roasted, almost raw and do not last as they become rancid and taste bad. Hampton Farm does not seem to have any quality control. I regret it everytime I buy this, trying to give them a chance to improve. Sam's Club should stop carrying this brand as they seem to get the leftovers from Hampton Farm. It may be a money maker for Sam's but they should switch to the Costco's brand.

I eat these exact peanuts often but in the normal size package you would find in a grocery store. I came about this larger bag at Sams club online. After receiving the bag I can now see that the actual peanuts are smaller. It shouldn’t be a big deal, but I do t like them as much. I will not order this larger size bag again. I will however eat them when they are in the smaller regular size packaging. I don’t think there are any better. So to be clear. The smaller regular packaging has larger size peanuts and they are more enjoyable to eat. These smaller peanuts that come in the large bag must be rejects

Peanuts had worms. This is my 2nd or 3rd order, (four 5 lb bags to the order) from Sams for these Hampton Unsalted Peanuts. No previous problems. These were kept in my air conditioned house. By the time I got half way through the second bag I noticed complete saturation of little worms having a field day. Also in remaining 2 bags.
