Feral cat with itchy, scaly, rough looking head and ear, with a cut in the crease of ear and top of head, came up to me for help. Cleaned his head and put bacitracin on the cut, then ordered PetAction Plus for cats, as it appeared the cat had a mites. Within the week the cat was back and looking for help. The cut was healing but the itchy, scaly skin was unchanged... so... cleaned his head and used one application as directed. Made sure the cat was okay and not irritated by the treatment, before sending him on his way. About two weeks later he was looking much better and his skin and fur were returning to normal. Also... a neighbor, whose indoor cat was having similar symptoms with itching, tried an application on her cat and it cleared up the itching.

We moved into a house that had fleas so it was our first time ever dealing with them and it was absolutely awful. First and most importantly you have to understand that there is no immediate fix. When you read it takes 3 months to get rid of them, believe it, it is a process!!! We vacuumed a couple times a day, every day for months. Just when you had a few days in a row of no fleas in the vacuum and you felt hopeful, you would see some again and you'd be crushed. (There may have been tears!) This is called staggered hatching. Those nasty little buggers can live dormant for up to 7 months so if you haven't thoroughly vacuumed them or they haven't had the chance to bite a treated pet they are active. So that being said, it took almost 3 months, but once the initial infestation was taken care of this has worked great as a preventative for us!!! We have not had any fleas in over 16 months now.
