These are made for small dogs, but my chihuahua has a hard time chewing on them. Give her one, and it lasts forever. So, I cannot say it really helps her teeth or breath because she cannot chew enough of it at one time to get benefit from it.

i have a 20 pound chug and a 7 pound chihuahua. They need small chews that are effective to clean tarter. I can break these in half for a daily cleaning. And these are made in America, no sketchy unknown ingredients added as filler.
