I really like the way the item smells, mintie and that's a really good name for them. Our dog jumped at the first one and gobbled it up on the second day she took it and put it down in the next room. It took her a few hours before she ate it. I'm sure she will come to like them, at least I hope she does.

I purchased the size for small dogs (my Schnauzers are about 15 lb) and they are just right. They are excited to get one each morning and seem to really like the flavor. It does take them several minutes to chew them, which I think is better for their teeth. Will update in a while regarding their oral hygiene!

First the bad: The minty smell is VERY strong and I don't think my dog likes these as much as other brands. The smell seems to throw her off, like she's not sure if she's supposed to be chewing it or if I'm playing a game with her. It's off-putting for me as well. I couldn't get the package to close after opening so I put it in a ziploc bag %26 it still makes the cabinet smell like artificial mint. On the other hand, she is a chewer %26 loves the knobby texture of these.

Although I have never personally tasted these, LOL my puppy Miss Ellie Mae sure loves them and they do smell really good, just like fresh mint. I have purchased these in the past for my German Shepherd who’s no longer with me and he loved them. He would sit and wait for them every day. I like this brand better than some of the others out there. The fresh mint smell does make them almost good enough to eat. Image is her sitting waiting for me to open the bag..

(This review is from a 1 year old.Shi-poo, named Sophie). “I love to get to brush my teeth everyday with these yummy minty toothbrushes. My human family members ask me if I “want to brush my teeth?” . When I hear that, I come running, sit real politely, shake my human’s hand, then take the “toothbrush” and enjoy it. I don’t even mind “brushing my teeth” more than 1 time a day!”.

My lab will literally eat anything. Treats, kibble, trash… he doesn’t discriminate. This is one of the only things I have seen him not like. He eventually ate the treat but was quite hesitant and doesn’t get excited over them (for reference, he gets excited over a single blueberry). He loves Greenies, so I will probably switch back. The treats smell SO strongly of mint, which may be why he doesn’t like them. I will say, they do work well in freshening his breath!

Both my dogs always want to get their Minties treat first before any other in the morning. I give them a choice of 2 different treats and it's always the Minties over a bacon flavored or the cookie type treats. They are a great price so I can afford to give my dogs one each morning.

This product has been exactly what my pup needed. The 5 breath fresheners work wonders on that doggy breath, and the 40 treats per bag is a great value. I love that these treats help remove plaque and keep my dog's teeth and gums healthy. He even seems to love the taste! A fantastic deal all round.

I've been really happy with these dental bones. The fact that they are vet-recommended gives me confidence. They contain 5 breath fresheners which is great for my pooch's breath. Not to mention, they help remove plaque and tartar, keeping my dog's teeth clean and healthy. It's a great product as described. Our dog dental care game has stepped up a notch!

This product is really great for my pet. The breath fresheners are a lifesaver, no more doggy breath! Plus, it promotes overall health which is a bonus. It's not just a treat, it's a wholesome care package for my dog's dental health. Highly recommended!
