I never write reviews but these Minties Dental Bone Treats seem to help remove plaque and help my dog's overall bad breath problem. My dog seems to enjoy them, and they do help freshen his breath!

We have bought these in the past from a different retailer, but we bought these in person at the Cassville, Missouri Walmart in August 2025 this time. I don’t know if it was an ingredient change or a sourcing quality issue, but my dog threw it back up 14 hours later and the pieces had not dissolved in her stomach AT ALL. Not even a little. This cannot be good for a pet’s digestive system. Please do not feed these to your pet.

These Minties Dog Dental Treats are the perfect way to keep my dog from barking overnight! She loves them and she’ll do just about anything for one. As a Mom not just a pet one, it makes me feel so good when I can give a treat that they not only love, but that is great for them. Clean teeth are always healthier and beneficial. And these Minties have nubs and texture that clean my dogs teeth. The mint smell is a little off-putting to me, but my dog doesn’t have a problem with it at all.

I ordered these on a whim and had no faith they would work but my dogs refuse to let us brush their teeth. They had a lot of plaque build up on the back teeth and it’s been a week now, their teeth are so white and they got rid of all the plaque. I have been doing one a day since. Their breath also does not smell like absolute death every day now!! Plus they absolutely love the flavor and how they can chew on it for a while. I wish I would’ve taken before and after pictures.

We have used these for years. It's a great, less expensive alternative to Greenies. Found them in bulk pack at the Club, and then they went away and now you can only order them online. After adding in shipping, the cost is almost the same buying them in the 8 or 12 pk - which is frustrating. Put them back in the store, please!

HORRIBLE! The treats are oddly very sharp. It took my dog way longer than normal to chew these. I noticed my dogs breathing was off, and the next thing I know, she threw up a hard chunk of the treat. I think the piece was stuck in her throat. These treats are not comparable to greenies. I trashed the entire bag! I will not risk my dogs health feeding these!!

Been using this for weeks and I like that it controls tartar and keeps my medium-sized dog’s breath fresh. The fact that it contains 5 breath fresheners is a plus. The treats are shelf-stable, which is convenient. Overall, a good dental treat option for my pet.

Ive a Rottweiler mix and 2 little ones, so I decided to give it a try for the big dog to improve her breath. She sucked the minty part and tried to chew it but wouldn't continue because they were very hard. I cut them with some pruners, but i cut my finger, and had to wait until it healed. They were a little hard to cut as well. They loved them sliced in smaller pieces, which is why i gave it 3 stars

Made my dogs sick in 3 days, vet says to much peppermint for dogs. Our dogs weighs 10 pounds and 104 pounds, both got sick eating their recommended size bones. Threw away the remaining bag of bones and wouldn't recommend this chew to any pet owner.

The size of this Minty bone is absolutely perfect for my Lit'l Pennie. She knows where i keep them and everytime I pass by this particular area she looks me on the eyes and gestures towards that area as if wanting to tell me, " I'm ready 😄 for my minty bone!!!"
