Well I bought these for my daughter's dog who has developed some back hip issues in his elder years. I'm not an expert on veterinary issues but I can tell you that Scout LOVES them!

Wish they would have been a little bit softer they're not as soft as they say they are they're kind of hard but I take a hammer to them and make them soft.

I switched to these after my old brand was discontinued. They really work! My dog is now jumping like a puppy again! Her mobility is so much improved.

Our 6+ years old large pups enjoy these supplemental chews. We have noticed a slight improvement in their ability to get around and walk. There is enough improvement to purchase these supplements again.
