I started my dog Maggie, a Chow/GSD mix with 3 legs, on these 2 weeks ago on the recommendation of a friend. I have been giving her a double dose as directed. Today she chased a squirrel! Maggie hasn't done this in years!! I am so happy to see that these chews are working for her and that she has ""come alive"" again.

Maybe it helps, maybe not. But calling these things 'chews' is misleading. They are VERY hard and I have to crush them with a pill crusher as I'm afraid my dog might choke on them. Dogs tend to swallow small things rather than chew them imho. Would never buy again.

I have been using the Hip and Joint for years with our now 9 1/2 year old lab and has worked wonders with her. We have never had a problem with her taking them, she thought they were treats. However the last 2 bags (180 count) we have purchased have been hard as rocks and she will no longer readily take them. What changed? Why change? Sadly, we may need to find a new product for her. FIX IT OR WE ARE SWITCHING!

Our medium sized dog, Cali, had knee problems since December 2017, she showed some improvement, but after a couple of months several vets recommended surgery. We scheduled the surgery and the day prior we heard about VetIQ® Maximum Strength Hip and Join since March 2018, she still has not had nor needed the surgery and is doing GREAT! I purchased this product a week before hunting season for my almost 12 year old Lab. I live on a farm and take Zoe out daily and let her run at her pace ahead of my 4 wheeler. She would run at 10 miles per hour. I had been giving her the Hip and Joint chews for 3 days and now she is running at 15 miles per hour. She jumps around and chases her ball like she did when she was five. This is a great produce and well worth the cost .

My bichon likes the chews. One of her back legs are stiff and she limps around. I just started these 5 days ago so it is too early to tell if it will help her but at least she likes them. She won’t touch pill pockets which most dogs like. I do agree with others that they are not soft like the advertising says. In fact they are very hard. I checked the package to see if they were out dated but they aren’t. Just be aware they are in no way a soft chew.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago for my 8 year old Tibetan mastiff mix. (104 lbs) He was having trouble getting back up after lying down. This has already made a noticeable difference. He gets up much easier than before! I am so thankful I found this!

My dog just swallows them, at 75 lbs its a nothing treat for her. I have seen a noticeable difference within 10 days my dog is 8 years old . We are both very happy, just hope they will be around for awhile. I will order more for sure, great price that works for us

I have a 9 year old pit, and she has definitely been slowing a little bit in her old age. I've been giving her two of these per day for about a week now, and have definitely noticed a change in her after long walks, or trips to the dog park that would usually make her sore and need time to recover. Plus, she enjoys the taste of these, so there's no problem getting her to take these. I actually sandwich another one of her supplements, that she's less favorable about the flavor, in between these so she'll eat that one too.

Dog seemed to like them. Haven't been able to tell a huge difference in joint and muscle but will keep up with them to see if any noticeable improvements happen. Our dog didn't have any issues with taking them like he does some ""treats"". We didn't have to hide it in food or disguise it in any way.
