I would highly recommend the VetIQ Hip %26 Joint Supplement for Dogs to any pet owner whose furry friend has joint problems. The chicken flavored soft chews are a hit with my dog and the supplement supports healthy joints, making daily walks and playtime much more enjoyable for him. The bag is labeled “soft chews” and the description says “They’re soft, chewy and infused with a rich chicken flavor that most canines love.” These are hard as rocks and my dog will not eat them. I tried crushing them and mixing with his food, but it’s not easy to do because they’re so hard, and my dog will leave bits of the chews in his bowl if he can avoid them.

I have a 9 yr old Boxer and a 4 yr old German Shepard. I noticed the Boxer having some problems jumping into our truck. So, I was shopping for a hip and joint product for few months. In mid Aug 2017, I came across this product and decided to try it. Our boys love it and think it's a treat. They look forward to it every morning along with their other vitamins. Within 2 weeks or so, the Boxer has his puppiness back. He's playing and running in the yard again with the German Shepard. I should have found this years ago. I purchased hip and joint maximum strength formula for my large breed dog about a month ago. He was on Cosequin DS but his symptoms of pain and discomfort were still obvious. I purchased this product for my Boxers about 2 years ago and was very pleased with the outcome. My male 9 years old and female 8 years old were having difficulty getting around and not running around the yard as much as usual. I started them on these and noticed a huge difference in their activity, chasing squirrels and keeping birds and cats out of their backyard. I was thrilled with the results and give them everyday.

My lab is 10 years old, we call her our old lady. She typically doesn't like taking anything that she can sense is a medicine, but she seemed to enjoy these as much as she would a treat so we didn't have any trouble giving them to her. She is still very ginger when she jumps down off of the bed, but she does seem to be moving around better overall.
