These were awful. They literally had an aftertaste of vomit. The peanut butter were less awful by some modicum, but still dreadful and tasted of vomit. This is not hyperbole. The taste was literally similar. I imagine it has some form of enzyme in the protein blend that causes this. Two people both agreed. We elected not to finish the box.

These are absolutely disgusting. Anyone saying otherwise needs to have their head examined. The aftertaste is like having vomit in your mouth. I’ve been on a protein bar kick lately and this is one of the worst tasting. The absolute best tasting by far is barebell.

I buy these all the time the last two boxes I have received do not taste the same. They taste rancid. The date on the box is good. I just don’t understand what has happened to the taste. I returned and exchanged a box and they still taste rancid. I bought a smaller box from H-E-B and they were OK

I normally eat protein bars and I thought I haven’t had these FitCrunch bars wow I choked most of one down and hoped I wasn’t stuck with these! Sam’s Club was amazing and took them back and gave credit back to my card!

I never write product reviews, especially not bad ones. But there are not enough reviews saying something really important about this product: it literally tastes like vomit. I took a bite, smiled cause it seemed tasty, and was completely blindsided by the aftertaste of vomit that soon filled my mouth and would not leave. Gave some to my husband too. From the other room, I heard him exclaim in disgust when the aftertaste hit him. I eat a lot of protein products and have never experienced this before. Looking at the reviews, this vomit taste is a 2026 issue. They probably cut corners to save money on the product. I’m writing this review so that instead, you can save the money by not purchasing this product.

Weird after taste. Not to my liking

I have just started the Medicare Bridge GLP1 program and have tried over 15 different protein bars. This is the worst. The taste is reminiscent of puke. Unfortunately I have discarded the box they came in and am stuck with then. I wish I has read recent reviews before buying them. Will choke down as many as possible as I cannot afford to throw them away.

Maybe it’s my taste buds or I got a bad batch. I bought these for the first time because of the high protein and was really excited to try those. However, all I taste is vomit. Only took one bite off the Chocolate Peanut Butter one. Haven’t tried the cookie dough one yet but scared to try after this first bite. I had to spit it out and swish my mouth with water and mouthwash. Sad I don’t like it as the other reviews sounded great.

Of the two flavors, only the nut bar tasted ok. The choc chip was like eating cardboard. I will not buy these again.

I was so exited to try these. The problem with some protein bars is the weird aftertaste. But with these… the aftertaste is there WHILE eating them, too.. and the taste doesn’t go away for a while! 🤢
