I've just purchased this item a few days ago. After charging this unit about 40 hours to get a full charge. I used the Stanley Fatmax today to add air in 4 tires that had about 28 psi air in the tires .Added air until all tires had 36 psi. Then the unit shut off No charge bars left on the unit. WOW! After 40 hours charging the unit the charge did Not last long. Why did they make a product that take a long time to charge just to use it one time and the need to recharge? May consider returning back to the store.

This is very defective, and the company is telling me that I cannot return it for an exchange. It would not shut off, and it smelled HOT, AND THEY JUST BLAMED ME!! FROM THE BEGINNING 1. Absolutely will not charge according to instructions. I even contacted the company. I did everything they said. They ignored everything I said... They insisted there is an indicator light... There is NO indicator light. AND the volts go up and down constantly... 2. It would NOT turn off, and after it was in the trunk a while it started smelling HOT. So I brought it in the house, put it in the bathtub (with no water), and let it die. 3. If you can find the Manual online, it's the biggest MESS of a Manual I have EVER seen. Looked like a kindergartener put it together. The formatting is unbelievable. 4. It came with NO adapter to inflate Tires. It has a hose with male threads on the end, but no way to inflate a tire, at all.

I bought this over a year ago. I’ve used it to jump start a car and a ZTR mower. Hint- remember to turn the red nob to jump something. Turn it back when done. Used compressor several time on car at 35 psi and bike at 95. Both worked great. Automatic function is great and it remembers the last setting even months later. So you don’t have to recheck the tire pressure when occasionally filling a slow leak. We are going to get 4 as gift of the year for the kids

Seemed to work great but left handle broken. All the functions that I tried worked great. But how do i pick it up with only 1 good handle. Once the right handle breaks in the future it would be almost impossible to carry at all. I would recommend if it was not broken

This little unit is a workhorse. I bought it today and needed to use it to pump car tires that got really low with the bitter cold temperature. It filled 2 very low tires in 12 minutes and 2 slightly low tires in 4 minutes. While that seemed like a long time, I can't complain because the typical gas station free air compressor valves aren't always maintained. And to my surprise it was FULLY charged upon purchase. I'm going to buy a second one for our other vehicle.

I used this to pump up the tires on my car exactly three times before the compressor died. It never would work for the tires on my bike. The main reason I purchased this was to avoid paying 75 cents at the local convenience store to inflate my my tires. I ended up paying about $26 per inflation.

Bought this sometime last year, just now writing this review. Not a bad product, used to pump my tires for my car and riding mower. Haven't had any issues yet from reading some of the negative reviews, i may need to charge my car that's been parked on the street for lil over a year or 2. Only thing that got me scratching my head was the charging of this unit, it didn't come with a charger so i used one of my orange extention cord. Really not a big dea tho, i know it did say it doesn't come with a charger. In all it's a decent product to keep in ur car for emergency.

This constantly needs to be connected to AC power or it will self discharge. Will not jump start a car. The USB charging ports do not work. They light up but won't charge any phone. Havent tried the air pump other than it makes noise so I assume it works. Found this out in an emergency. Spent alot of money for this and it fails. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong so I looked online for a manual but none found

I bought mine as a father's day gift for my dad who is a truck driver. I noticed he just had it sitting around the house for a year so I took it because during winter my tires get low. Well now I know why it never used it. It doesn't even work. I had my boss try to help me figure it out and he said it was definitely defective and non working. Sam's club would not take it back

We bought 4 of these back when they were on sale. 2 for us & 2 for gifts. The portable air compressor is handy around our farm when we need to air up a side x side tire or wheel barrow. Keep it in our car in-case someone needs a jump & we don't have to worry about screwing up our vehicle. So handy & multiple uses. This FatMax definitely seems like a deal compared to the others Sam's offer "all much more expensive".
