I've had it for about 5 months and my fatmax has been good to me. I did the initial charge for 2 days and I charge it once a month for a day. I have only used it for my tires (because of slow leak) and I have also used it to charge devices during a storm. So far, so good

Great product until the air compressor stopped working 18 months after purchase. I liked the versatility and ability to pump up various tires without having to be plugged in, as well as the ability to charge portable devices. But the air compressor has some internal malfunction. it still runs but does not produce any air pressure. Sent a note to Stanley support and they pushed it to some other group - never heard back from them so I will probably stay away from buying a Stanley product that has any moving parts.

My husband bought this item and it worked fine for about a month. We were trying to blow up an inflatable pool, simple enough right, WRONG! It went out. Would not stay on. Took it back and exchanged for the same type. Tried to use it on a cold day when the tire was low, the new one didn't work. Took back for a refund. Terrible!!

I purchased this BRAND NEW over 2 years ago (now past warranty), and was subsequently given the exact same model as a gift - ALSO Brand New. NEITHER OF THEM WORKED right out of the box!!! I procrastinated in returning them so now the warranty has expired and they are both sitting in my garage. I can't just trash them because of environmental laws, so I'm SOL. Any suggestions?

Yes. One use and you wonder why you spent money on this line of product from manufacturer. First unit, compressor failed after the first tire. Retailer replaced and second unit switch failed to power off unit and unable to change between compressor or charger.

This thing is the "Cat's Meow!"   I use it all the time, around the homestead, when camping, everywhere.   always with me.  use it to keep all my tires properly inflated.  have jumped off several vehicles in need.  charge a phone.   even check the Alternator.   There are probably others out there, but this is one of the best utility items I've ever bought.

Bought this as a crutch should I need it as I travel pulling a trailer by myself. The first one worked great 2 times airing my travel trailer tires. It quit and would do nothing. Then I took back to Sam’s and exchanged for another. That one was only use as compressor. I topped air on travel trailer maybe on 5 different occasions. It quit again. I contacted Stanley to have it repaired. They said they do not repair these except under warranty. I explained I wasn’t looking for warranty service I wanted to pay to have it repaired. They said they will not repair once it’s of of warranty. Not even for a charge. Have since tossed and bought a Schumacher Instant Power. It has 110 inverter to power a lamp or such. Seems to work fine so far and appears to have repair options.

I didn’t like depending on needing someone to boost my car when stranded or have to worry about out being left without power during outages so buying this item seemed great! But after only using about 4x it began to have defects! The LED lights would turn on constantly throughout the day as I had to turn it off each time. Then after about a month of that it was quiet for a while then started beeping every so often. Now it has a constant buzzing noise that I can’t get to stop at all! Not to mention now it smells like hot wiring. My advice, find a different brand to buy. I wish I didn’t have to rate this even one star but had to in order to leave a review. My real rating is -1000⭐️⭐️⭐️’s I

The USB Ports do not work; they power up, but shut down immediately when you attach any USB device; I have tried phones, speakers, and many other USB items simply to charge; none draw more than the 3.1 amps and I have not attached more than one device at a time; there is nothing anywhere to be found on how to trouble shoot why; I have used many different cables also; this happens with every USB device I attach to charge.

I've purchased 3 of the PP1DCS Auto charging/air compressor power stations. I had to return one immediately because nothing worked, but the other two worked great until one of them failed when my son needed it during an emergency. These are fantastic when they work and a great safety net that we take on all our trips, but they have not proven to be reliable and that is not good when you need it. Absolutely believe it is a great idea, but they must work during emergencies. For as heavy as it is, the battery should be great. Hoping Stanley improves the quality and reliability or they shouldn't put their name on it.
