I had it for 8 months, the air compressor no longer works. The air hose is barely long enough and the screw on valve is really small and tedious to attach. It seems to overstate its capabilities, like maximum tire pressure and battery power. I've probably only used it 6 times and it seemed to lose half of its charge with the first use. I kept it charged and recharged without leaving it plugged in over 24 hours. it's really heavy and unnecessarily cumbersome with lots of empty unused space internally. handles that don't seem to be placed for balance or designed for comfort. Fully charged, the third time I used it, it didn't start a 6 cylinder diesel Mercedes, but a less expensive name brand was able to jump start the diesel Mercedes.

This worked just fine the few times it was needed during the first year or so. Now 3 years later it will not hold a charge. After charging it says it is fully charged but as soon as you turn it in to do anything it is completely dead. It gets minimal use and is charged regularly so that is not the issue. But after the manufacture warranty is expired it no longer works.

They need to make the cables longer first of all, using it for a RAV4 2020 (terrible in itself), but it’ll work if used correctly. The reason for the one star is that it’ll turn on by itself every now and then- the battery tester will come on, or maybe it’s the compressor. The only way to turn off is to press the button- it’s like jammed but never been used.

After initially charging the unit for 40 hours per the manual instructions, I was eager to try this out to inflate 2 of my tires that had low pressure. The air compressor stopped working after about 10 seconds, with 5 more lbs of pressure needed to reach the setting I input. I tried it again after letting it cool down just to see if it was just a glitch or something but still didn’t work. Piece of junk, returning it to Sam’s Club today. Won’t bother exchanging it for a new one, if it happened one time and happened to others on this review board, then it’s bound to happen again.

I've bought two of these. The first one quit holding and providing charges after the first year. The second one failed the 1st time I tried to use the compressor. I attached it and it make a big clunk sound inside (as if something disconnected) and it wasn't able to fill the tire. The compressor is totally shot. I'm done trying this model. Too bad since it has great features and if it worked as advertised and intended, it would have been great.

We have had 2 of these for about a year. We have one in each car for emergencies. They have barely been used. Now it has started with beeping that cannot be stopped.Online I have found that "due to an oil issue the Stanley Fatmax Power100a will continuously keep beeping. If an oil leakage happens and you didn't detect it in timethe oil will be finished soon." Huh?? We can't shut it up!

I bought this jump starter about one year ago. First, there are not amps to jumpstart a car battery. Failed to jump my car battery. Second, the main reason I would not recommend this jump starter. The one I ordered previously had a 12 volt plug in connection. In my opinion every combination jump starter should have a 12 volt plugin

Thought these were amazing. We bought 1 to have with us in an older car we had, in case of flat tires, etc. Worked great. We used it for the light, the usb connections, filling many tires, it was awesome. So, we bought one for each of our parents, and bought 3 more for us, one for the house, and 2 for each of the other cars. Well, had a low tire out on the road, and the brand new unit in that vehicle would not even fill the tire. You could hear the compressor running, but it sounded different, and it would not push any air out. We returned it to the store for a replacement, and it seemed to work - for awhile, but the replacement stopped pushing air also. So in the past year, we have purchased 6, with 1 being replaced, so 7 units, and we only have 1 that still works and pushes air. Not sure if this is the typical Sams/Walmart buying seconds and substandard products so they can sell it cheaper, or if it is just a standard Stanley issue, but either way, it IS a Stanley issue, because they either have a substandard product, or they are selling substandard units at a reduced rate. Stanley, your name is still all over these sub standard products - why would you want that?

Purchased with high hopes but failed several times to jump start a 4cyl eng. compressor will only last for one tire then dies. Takes a long time for it to fully charge. And at exactly one year when the warranty expires it completely fails. Will not hold a charge.

Unit looked great in the box but I was EXTREMELY disappointed when I actually tried to use it. Unit beeped the whole time it was charging (loud and very irritating) for the recommended 40 hours. THEN AFTER I USED IT THE FIRST TIME IT WOULD NOT SHUT OFF OR QUIT BEEPING! Looked on the internet for answers and found numerous people with same issue and no solution. Called the service hotline on the unit (took 5 tries because I was on hold so long I had to hang up) only to have the technician say, "yep, there's no way to fix it so you need to take it back". I advised her of all the similar on-line complaints and she said "there are some known issues with it beeping and not shutting off". I got my money back instead of exchanging it because of all the other people having similar complaints. Also, there is no cord on the unit and the plug is in a very bad location (bottom corner)--the plug cap will also not stay on the prongs after the first use so it just flops around.
