Does not blow up air for a long time, have returned three bc the compressor blew out. A car tire or two might be safe but anything larger will not work. So if plans for an emergency equipment in your car is iffy. I would find something better for the price

This is my third Fatmax and the compressor has failed on all three. This one lasted the longest, just short of five years. The 1000A model dosen't have the juice to start the newer cars like my 2000 Impala, but works fine on my older S10 pickup. The air hose is too short for easy use and difficult to get back into the storage compartment . The unit is also heavy, not easy to carry around or store in your vehicle. I think there may be better options out there in the market.

The first one I purchased from Sam's Club quickly developed problems with the control panel and returned after two months for refund. I decided to give it another shot later and it functioned fine for a year and half until recently when the motor sputtered and burned out after 10 seconds of putting air in a tire. Would not recommend.

It worked ok for about 1 year then whenever I sat it down it would beep non-stop. When it was new I could get 3 jumps before it needed recharged and after the beeping started 1jump maybe. It's old tech the smaller jump packs are the way to go. SAMS CLUB has the other jump packs online.

I can personally vouch for the FATMAX's ability to jump large vehicles (I drive a Chrysler Town and Country) and it's ability to inflate tires quickly. I used to have to pay a few bucks at the gas station to fill up the tires but this is just so convenient and quiet. Jumping the car is so easy too. With this in my car I really have been able to relax about my recent battery issues because I know I can always get a jump!

I love this handy portable jump starter. It can jump a car in seconds with no problem. I use this to put air in my tires and to charge my phone. I bought my husband one too. He use his to jump start his riding lawn mower. It's great to have and this is a keeper.

I bought this a couple of days ago. Followed instructions to charge for 40 hours before using. It would much easier to use and much better product if it had cables that could easily reach the battery, provide a 12V outlet to power say an automotive vacuum cleaner, and finally a power inverter to provde 110V power in times of need. For me the extremely short cables were problematic and end game.

I'm on my second unit, as the first was defective out of the box, having a bad battery. From the very start, the charging indicator never got past three of four bars, regardless of how long it was charged. Immediately after unplugging from AC, I tried to inflate a tire for one minute, and the charging indicator immediately fell from three bars to one bar.

The area light tends to come on by itself for no explained reason. I have yet to contact the company, and will update this review if needed when I know more. If the battery can drain itself, if I was not able to see the unit, it would be worthless in an emergency.

This product does not jumpstart anything. It was a complete failure. The compressor did work and was able to inflate my car tire but I was still stranded because it would not start. I was lucky that the Sheriff was nice enough to go get me one that actually works. A refund would be nice.
