This is not the worst canned tuna ever but it's not better than that either. Actually, it looks like chopped up cat food and for that purposes, it's probably not as good as it doesn't claim to have have cat vitamins in it. Will never buy this again - you still get what you pay for. Looks like wood shavings (small ones) and doesn't taste much better is my sense. I've not tried eating wood shavings to actually compare.

StarKist should not be allowed to refer to the contents of these cans as chunk light because they are basically tuna soup, with nothing even remotely resembling a chunk in them. The texture is pure mush and very unappetizing. This product is absolutely disgusting, and after opening one can I threw the rest away. Sam's really ought to be ashamed to offer this product to their members.

We will be looking for another brand. Our shipment was on time a can or 2 had dents but that can be expected due to carrier handling. Our main issue is in a set of 12 cans we found around 40 or more fish scales. Yes scales. We found a few bones as well but we were amazed at the quantity and size of the scales we found. They break fairly easy but they are super thin and have sharp edges so not fun to have slice against your gums or get stuck in between teeth. Will continue ordering from Sams but will not be ordering the Starkist anymore. Will probably try the members mark as everything else in the brand we have been pleased with its superior quality.

Has to be the most disgusting "tuna" I've ever seen. Not packed in water as the package claim, but "vegetable broth" with 400 mg of salt that makes the tuna texture barely solid. So incredibly salty. Black hard chunks mixed in -- bone, skin? Would never buy this again. What happened to the foil packs that could be opened without a can opener, tasted fresh, were actually packed in water, had fewer calories and didn't taste like a salt lick?

Tuna fish is big in my house and thisbis a good value!
