We have been buying this size MilkBone box for over 9 years for our big dogs, up until the mid-May 2021 purchase they have been great and the dogs loved them. However, the box purchased this May had larva crawling in the milkbones and moths flying in the container within 2 weeks of purchase and our Chesapeake Retrievers would not eat them. Had to throw the lot to the garbage. We always transfer the milk bones upon receipt from the cardboard box to air and water tight containers (gamma lid containers), so the contamination DID NOT occur after purchase. Should have checked the date on the box as well as the lot number, so shame on me for that. I will try another box from Sam's but from now on I will make note of manufacture/expire date (if there is one) as well as the lot # so if there is a problem again it can be resolved with Sam's or the manufacturer. Still recommend but buyer beware.

10 boxes of broken bones!!! Was suppose to be on sale 3.00 off per box. Customer service sucks would not credit the 3 per box and didn’t care that the employee were so lazy this order they shipped the bones only in the original box why we received broken dog bones!!!

My dog loves these but not buying at Sam’s again. Nothing wrong with having a diverse workforce of people who may be older, women, minorities, veterans, have seen /unseen disabilities that are quantified and can do the job. That is what has given people an opportunity to even compete in some situations. I didn’t say take someone else’s job or not be qualified. I said compete- be looked at on the basis of their merits or even untraditional skills. We are erasing hard earned lessons and legislation from our nations history. Corporate America is falling in line with their bottom line and a divisive and racist agenda that is not benefiting most of the public. The shopping public. Educated, black, middle-aged, woman who has worked twice as hard as many of my colleagues while doing the same jobs….at times for less pay or more responsibility.

I have purchased this many times and was disappointed as it looked like the bones were just thrown in the box (normally they are packaged nicer, in layers ) and the quality of the biscuits was not normal, they are very hard . I usually break them in half and that is extremely difficult with these
