Good bargain.

We have been buying this size MilkBone box for over 9 years for our big dogs, up until the mid-May 2021 purchase they have been great and the dogs loved them. However, the box purchased this May had larva crawling in the milkbones and moths flying in the container within 2 weeks of purchase and our Chesapeake Retrievers would not eat them. Had to throw the lot to the garbage. We always transfer the milk bones upon receipt from the cardboard box to air and water tight containers (gamma lid containers), so the contamination DID NOT occur after purchase. Should have checked the date on the box as well as the lot number, so shame on me for that. I will try another box from Sam's but from now on I will make note of manufacture/expire date (if there is one) as well as the lot # so if there is a problem again it can be resolved with Sam's or the manufacturer. Still recommend but buyer beware.
