Unlike a typical milkbone bone, The soft chewy texture works perfect for my senior dog. Now that it's harder for him to chew, this makes the perfect tasty treat. However, I highly recommend it for any dog, not just seniors, as it seems to be enjoyable for my younger dog as well. One thing to caution is that The fat content is high and serving size goes by the weight of your dog. so you do have to watch if your pooch is on a diet or a little chonky, to limit their calorie intake. Overall though, I highly recommend purchasing for your pup, they'll love them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say what an improvement! My dogs would never eat the hard Milk Bone dog bone treats, but they love these! I’m grateful that Milk Bone and Influenster let me try these free of charge. The texture is like my favorite cookie that is still a little doughy when it comes out of the oven, but firmed up after cooling. It smells like tasty jerky and reads that it is made with real chicken breast. I love that it has 12 vitamins and minerals. The foil package is definitely waterproof when sealed. When I left the bag in the rain, the biscuits inside were still fresh and dry. My dogs get so excited when I bring out the Milk Bones. I have to separate the pups or one will steal the other’s. My little guy dances with joy in all of his excitement before snatching the snack and running off to gobble it quickly up. It’s easy o their teeth and breaks apart easily.

These are perfect little soft treats for our older dog. They also crumble easily if you like using them as a food topper/ making the treats last a little longer. My dogs like the flavor and get excited when I open the package. The first ingredient is Chicken -although there are some ingredients that aren’t “healthy.”
