I still look for the Planter's version of these, but since they're so scarce these will work. The makers seem to have figured out how to stop burning them when roasting, so that's better. There has to be some reason they add peanut oil to peanuts, but unless it's so the salt will stick better, I can't think of it. I wonder if these peanuts are claustrophobic or something. They arrived in a box, by themselves (no padding) that is big enough to be Mr Peanut's RV. An 11 x 16 x 10 inch box (1760 cubic inches) for a 110 cubic inch 'jar' containing 34.5 ounces of peanuts. Just add wheels.

I used to buy the Planters peanuts at Sam's before they replaced them with the Members Mark. The quality is not nearly as good. Many of the peanuts are very hard . I am afraid that I am going to crack a tooth. I am going to switch back to the name brand, even if I have to but them somewhere else.

i remember buying these a few years back. I was impressed with the size of the peanuts. They were truly Extra Large and very tasty. They are still pretty tasty but the only thing extra large about them now is the deceptive advertising on the label saying they are extra large. Plain ole peanuts now. I cant help but wonder if these products in Sams Club now that so many are complaining about, don't just get continously ordered and never checked to make sure that they are getting what they are ordering. I wonder if they know how the quality of their products isn't what it used to be. Maybe more ppl that count in the company should read the reviews.

Worst peanuts I have ever bought. They are old and stale. Many are dried out and crunchy while others are so old they are nasty tasting. I hope management tries them. I am very disappointed that Sams would sell anything that is as poor quality as this product. I thought I might have got a bad batch but when I purchase another it was the same. I will be returning the second one.

We keep these peanuts in stock at our house, and have always been happy with the quality until the most recent container. This container had a best buy date of 13APR20E. First of all, the peanuts are not large. They are medium at best. Second, many of them are just bad. My husband thought he bit into plastic because the peanut was so hard. Those that are hard also have an unpleasant taste. I have tried to pick those out as much as possible using their darker and translucent color to identify them, but still come across the occasional bad one. I would estimate that less 5% are bad, but it only takes one to sour you on eating them. I hope this issue is resolved before I buy more. Otherwise I will have to look elsewhere for peanuts. That would be extremely disappointing as the value (when they are good) is by far the best around.

Great Nuts

We normally love these peanuts and their price, but on our order of 3 containers of peanuts all of them were so burnt and taste horrible. Some of the peanuts were so hard they were unable to be bitten. Would love to buy more, but don't want to spend the money just to throw them in the trash again. Please fix this issue.

A good source of protein. A snack that is better than sugary food.
