Really good peanuts. The "soft" (not the super-crunchy kettle-fried) bingeable peanuts that stay fresh in the tightly sealed container. Could use a bit more salt, IMHO, but I put salt on my salt, so.... Otherwise, these are priced at probably 75% less than what I paid at Meijer,

I was hesitant to try these since it's a store brand, but the only Planters only came in honey roasted. But I'm glad I tried them. They're perfectly salted, not too much or too little. The only reason I knocked it down a star was because the label said they were extra large. Some were very tiny. But that's a minor knock because they taste great & taste is what counts. I'd recommend

Hard to knock peanuts, but even though I was pleased they weren’t too salty, I would like just a bit more salt. I do like that they weren’t oily or greasy.

I have noticed that over the years that jarred, bottled and packaged peanuts have lost a lot of flavor and the reason, I believe, is the expression of the oil to the point of a very dry husk of what was a tasty morsel. I remember that as a child in the 1940's having a can of Planters peanuts opened with a swoosh of inrushing air and they tasted great. Not so much today. This brand is just OK but I really miss the tasty nuts of yesterday.

These peanuts has a texture of more like dry roasted vs cooked in oil. A little bland in taste also.

I have bought these peanuts from Sam's Club many times. This batch is absolutely inedible. The nuts are burned and taste absolutely disgusting. I wish I could return them, what a waste of money. They are hard and difficult to chew, aside from the terrible taste.

I used to love the Virginia Peanuts from Sam's. Now you have to order them online - and three containers I've received in the past few months have been -- bad. It seemed every fourth peanut was hard as a rock and inedible (and dangerous for your teeth!). Very disappointing.

I’ve had good luck with the other Sam’s nut products and the quick shipping is a real plus, so I decided to give these a try. I was expecting the extra large gourmet peanuts like their competitor sells. These are just regular size peanuts and they taste burned like they were roasted too long. I’m going to take them to my cabin and feed them to the squirrels.

I eat nuts as a night time snack and have purchased these before and usually are delicious and fresh. This time they apparently were over roasted which I could tell by the way they looked before opening the jar, they were very, very brown. I went ahead and tried a few hoping they would be okay but nope, they are bitterly burnt. Thank goodness I have Sam’s on my errands list today because they are going back.
