This was the worst container of peanuts I have ever purchased. (My first time trying them.). The peanuts were over-baked/processed. Many were hard as rocks, so bad you had to discard them. I should have known better when I saw the number of dark peanuts in the container. I hoped they would be better than they looked - they were not. Since this was a first time purchase, perhaps a "bad-batch" was in stock. If I decide to try them again, I will definitely pay more attention to the appearance of the contents.

Great Nuts

Wow, big change in taste from the large container to the smaller one shown. And not for the better. The peanuts in the newer container tasted like they had no salt even though the label showed they have a tad more sodium than those that came in the former large size. They ruined my candy. I will not buy these again until I read reviews that show they have improved. In fact, bring back those large round tins of Planter’s peanuts. They were the best by far. I don’t understand why we can’t buy those anymore. Member’s Mark brand is not always equivalent and sometimes much worse. Give us a choice, not just MM brand.

I have purchased these peanuts multiple times in the past and they have been good. However, my most recent purchase of them many of the peanuts have a burned flavor. They were apparently over-roasted. I thought the color looked dark but all of the containers on the two pallets in the club looked the same. I spoke to someone at Member Care. They just said I would have to return them to the club. They didn't seem to think any other action needed to be taken. It sound like they are just going to continue to sell the burned tasting peanuts. Now I have to make a 40 mile trip if I want to return this defective product.

Not a bad taste, but too many hard nuts. Like biting on a stone. I can't take the chance of breaking a tooth or dental appliance. We buy a lot of Member's Mark, but these peanuts aren't representative of the quality we have come to expect at Sam's Club.

These peanuts are not extra large. I'm not even sure they are Virginia peanuts. They are nothing close to other Virginia peanuts I've purchased in size or flavor. Hubs, Kirkland, and Virginia Diner, are all very similar. In fact, I think Hubs makes them for Kirkland.

These, in this smaller container, I assure you, are not the same quality as the ones in the larger container. They look the same, but, this container has a lot of hard bits inside it and this isn't my one and only small sized purchase. Please get your large back in-stock!

I have bought these regularly for years. Flavor and cost made them a good value. When I bought them a few weeks ago I thought maybe they were old. The flavor was bad and bland. Bought them again hoping it was just a bad batch. Nope! These are bland and have almost no salt on them. Please go back to whatever you were doing before. I won’t continue buying them as they are.

I buy these peanuts frequently. They have a good amount of salt (usually) which I enjoy. My current issue with them is the size. The last 3-4 containers I bought have just had average sized peanuts in them, not the extra large ones as advertised on the label. There used to always be big peanuts in the container but more. I am not sure if Sam's Club changes suppliers or if peanut size is smaller due to the time of year it is but they are definitely not extra large peanuts.
