These peanuts are labeled as extra large, but I find that to be something of an oxymoron being that I've never seen an extra large peanut in my life except for the one that wears the top hat and monocle in the commercial. These peanuts are perfect for creating your own custom trail mix or having out as a bar mix. I personally put some out with pretzels at the bar. You can think of your own ideas.

Lightly salted, not overly salted. Fresh, great for recipes or just snacking. Extra large? I wouldn't call them extra large though. Certainly not the largest peanuts I've ever eaten. These are not processed like the jar peanuts and much better than canned peanuts, unless they're canned Virginia specialty peanuts! Just roasted and lightly salted.

I've ordered this product several times, and find that there are numerous hard and/or over-roasted nuts in each container. For me personally, there's an overabundance of salt, but to each his/her own. I do appreciate the salt being "sea salt" though. As a result of the hard, or over-roasted nuts the product is just "OK", as the balance of the nuts don't taste as fresh as I'd like. On the other hand, this product, as well as the larger size, is a decent bargain...it would be difficult to find these quantities at a lower price.

I bought a jar since it was cheaper than the peanuts in the shell that I've been buying for the last few years. It is a bonus that I don't have to clean up the shell mess since these are already shelled. The nut size is larger and taste better than the in-shell peanuts. For our last Sam's trip, I bought 2 jars of these peanuts and 1 jar of the Hunter Mix. Although I could eat the Hunter Mix until I am stuffed, I liked adding these peanuts since they are large and flavorful. I enjoy just eating these peanuts out of the jar and could also eat them until I am stuffed.

Wow! Extra large, huh? I used to buy these regularly for the office folks to nibble on. Since working from home set in, I hadn't bought them in a long while. A craving for them, and... These? These are imposters. Looks like they're sending their kids instead of the grown-ups. They're HALF the size of the ones I used to buy just over a year ago. Did COVID affect their ability to grow peanuts to the extra large size? Did COID shrink the size of the sorting grates? Or do they think COVID makes it OK to just put anything into the jar and label it whatever they want? Dunno. Just know I won't be buying them again....

Everyone in my family is hooked on this particular nut from Sam's. For some reason my store hasn't carried them in quite a while. However, with my Plus membership I buy them for everyone and have them shipped. So far I'm still able to get them through the mail......we all LOVE these nuts!!!!

I used to buy peanuts from Sam's Club's competitor but since I've found these I have only bought these from Sam's. I really like peanuts and go through a LOT of peanuts (I'm talking a LOT). These have exactly the right amount of oil (they aren't greasy, the amount of oil is satisfying and it helps the salt stick to the peanuts). I'll keep buying them as long as you're selling these.

Peanuts are peanuts. Wish there had been unsalted product also.
