We are Huge peanut consumer's, so I've bought untold numbers of these. They are fine. They use to carry Planter's and those were Much better. These could use a little more salt and I often run into bad nuts. All that said, I still buy them but much less often especially since the price has jumped so much.

Every year I make peanut brittle @ Christmas...A LOT of peanut brittle. I was unable to locate my usual peanuts and tried the Sams extra-large Virginia peanuts. They saved the day. Everyone loved the brittle and my peanut brittle reputation was saved!

These peanuts are gooood! They are long and skinny, but the taste is one of the best I have ever tasted, on plain, salted peanuts. My wife keeps asking for them before they go out! I usually mix a small little bowl with honey, but these taste great by themselves, so I skip the honey, which is unusual when I was raised around honeybees. Most all other peanuts, eeehh! I have to add honey!

I bought a jar since it was cheaper than the peanuts in the shell that I've been buying for the last few years. It is a bonus that I don't have to clean up the shell mess since these are already shelled. The nut size is larger and taste better than the in-shell peanuts. For our last Sam's trip, I bought 2 jars of these peanuts and 1 jar of the Hunter Mix. Although I could eat the Hunter Mix until I am stuffed, I liked adding these peanuts since they are large and flavorful. I enjoy just eating these peanuts out of the jar and could also eat them until I am stuffed.

Wow! Extra large, huh? I used to buy these regularly for the office folks to nibble on. Since working from home set in, I hadn't bought them in a long while. A craving for them, and... These? These are imposters. Looks like they're sending their kids instead of the grown-ups. They're HALF the size of the ones I used to buy just over a year ago. Did COVID affect their ability to grow peanuts to the extra large size? Did COID shrink the size of the sorting grates? Or do they think COVID makes it OK to just put anything into the jar and label it whatever they want? Dunno. Just know I won't be buying them again....

I am a price shopper. Unlike many, I don't buy everything at Sam's, only when Sam's has the best price. If you are not allergic, and like larger peanuts these win. (However, I did find a lower price on slightly smaller peanuts at Sam's "sister" store) These are fresh and yummy and have always been IN stock when I need them. I buy a variety of nuts at Sam's, mix them in a large roasting pan, and pack them in little zippy snack bags. Great for a healthy take a long snack at work, school or instead of junk food when watching TV. I save the snack bags and reuse them for the next time. As a bonus, the plastic "jar" is sturdy and easily reusable to store a ton of items. Pet toys, pet treats, cereal, pasta, dried beans, nuts and bolts in the workshop, spare change, Q Tips, cotton balls, etc.. I never throw them out or recycle.

This has been a staple in our family for years. Recently the package is smaller and the price higher (which seems to be the standard in retail). Now the peanuts also seem smaller and not the "EXTRA LARGE Peanuts" than what was offered a few years ago.

Salted peanuts with zero added sugar. Some other national brands actually have added sugar in their salted peanuts. These do not. And they are delicious. It is, in my opinion, absurd that you should have to check for sugar when buying salted peanuts.

If you like peanuts, you’ll love these big ones. They really are noticeably bigger than most. The flavor is excellent and they make a great satisfying snack. We have a small bar at home. When we have a guest over, they love munching on these. Overall – Bigger, better and at a reasonable price.

This is a large container of peanuts with very good , nutty flavor and nicely salted. The individual peanuts are very large halves. This container is not filled with broken , crushed peanuts covered in 2 inches of salt at the bottom. These are a tasty, healthy snack. I even like the container as it has a tight screw on lid and is plastic see through. Very handy , we leave it on the bar , and as you walk by you can easily grab a handful or a small dish for a snack. The large peanuts also make a nice presentation when used in some cooking recipes, or sprinkled on top for garnish. We try to keep one handy for guests.
