Member's Mark Natural Shelled Walnuts, 3 lbs. - deleted

I had bought trail mix at Sam's and wanted more walnuts.  Went online and purchased these to add to my mix, love them!  They arrived not broken, added some in my mix and munched away!  Always go to SAM'S, knowing they will be great quality and fresh, if they aren't just return them to my local SAM'S, no questions asked, SAM'S  is my "go to " store !

Fresh, large and great taste !

Bought these last week and several of the walnuts were moldy. Absolutely unacceptable. I won't be buying from Sam's any more whereas it's obvious they are not concerned for our well being or best interests, but only the bottom line$. I'd rather support the local mom and pop shop anyway.

Moldy

I have purchased these same walnuts from Sam’s Club in the past and enjoyed them. This last bag has been a major disappointment: although the nuts are within date they have a nasty flavor, not sure how to describe it other than a near rancid taste. I’ll finish them off but this is likely the last time I buy these.

These were awful

I was astounded to find 3 pounds of walnuts at this price! I ordered with skepticism but they live up to our quality standards! We have been paying $17 per pound for organic walnut pieces.  No, these are not organic, but at $3.20 per pound for mostly whole walnuts they are certified non GMO, and very importantly, they taste just as good, or better, than the organic ones we have been paying nearly 6 times more for! This assessment is according to my husband, who is very hard to please on his walnuts!  So there you have it.  These are a definite buy :)

Incredible and Delicious Value!

Used to buy these frequently and was very happy with them but the last few months have noticed lots of shells mixed in with the nuts and the last bag was rancid even though the expiration date was several months away.  Will no longer purchase these from Sam’s.

Bought a big bag of 3 pounds. It is not fresh and tastes bad even after roasted. The rest will go the trash.

Walnuts are very bad.  Have to throw many away.  They used to be good.  The price is good but the quality of the Walnuts has gone downhil

The last 2 times I bought these they were disappointing. I eat these everyday and have had to throw away a number of them because of the taste. A lot of them  tasted old, ‘oily' and and looked bad as almost rotten (black). When I first started buying the walnuts, maybe a year ago so I have bought several bags, they were 
good.

Tastes old

Very good value. I use them in my dog's food. We put them in a food processor to chop them up. 
We've been making our own dog food for years. It so much more healthy for them. Nuts give them good protein, fiber and essential oils and nutrients. 

Obviously they are just one element. But very essential for their diet.

Please stop using store bought dog food. You're giving them poison, if you will not eat it then neither should they. Just make sure you look at recipes so they get all their needs met. 

And the best thing you'll save money and your pet children will be more healthy. None of mine are overweight their coats look beautiful and they are energetic. 

They it up right away. Only down side is you really need to make it in batches and freeze it, then defrost it everyday as needed. Its easy if you take it from the freezer the night before and place it in your refrigerator. Ready the next day, heat in the MW, and serve. 

You will need to keep the nuts in the refrigerator after opening them nuts can spoil.
