Potato is main ingredient. You can smell it when you first open the bag. My dog is so picky that he doesn’t even help with dropped popcorn. These are his only snack. His internal clock is set for “teeth bone” time. I can stop him in his track and immediately divert his attention by saying the words “teeth bone” so some days he gets an extra one.

In the last few years my Lab has developed bad breath. We've had his teeth cleaned and within a few months, it is bad again. I have tried at least a dozen different type treats to help improve the smell and nothing has worked. Now that I have been using this product for the last two months and there is a definite improvement and at half the price as some of the other ones tried. It had gotten so bad that I couldn't stand my best friend standing close by but these Dental Treats had made a big difference.

My standard poodles that both regularly have a different brand of dental bone spent the entire day sick. No food for 24 hours. One of them just got back from a $490 vet bill today after incredible stomach discomfort, panting and pacing for 10 hours. I will be seeking a refund tomorrow. Both were monitored and chewed properly

I've recommended this product to others who have had dogs with bad breath and these WORK! It is a difference between night-and-day! We give our lab one every night right before bedtime. She loves them, but they are very rich so if you're not sure if your pup can handle these, you should probably try using half of one at first. Each "treat" is scored so that you can easily break them in half. Just a heads up: If you feed too much to your dog, they will regurgitate this. We've found that one a day at night works really well for our 70# lab. Also, I wouldn't really call these "treats" since they are very rich for a dog's stomach.

Effective dental chew that is economical. My vet suggested that i start using similar products that have the Veterinary Dental Health stamp of approval. I found these at Sam's for much less. Very approved it. After several months, my dogs teeth are still looking like the day they were cleaned. My dogs come remind me every night to get their dental treats.

The dogs love "brushing their teeth" before bedtime. We have a 15yr old mini schnauzer that recently went to tge Vet. The Vet commented on how she was surprised at the condition of hee teeth and gums. They were in excellent shape, esp being an old dog. The dogs will continue to "brush their teeth" every night.

My little pug looks forward to her dental treat as a snack. She's eager to get a piece of it daily. I break the stick into different parts so that I can give her a smaller piece. It breaks with some effort but breaks smoothly. Her teeth look very clean, and her breath never smells foul.

These are the only doggie dental bones my dog will eat. She LOVES them! She gets one every morning before I go out the door. And on weekends she sits and begs for one, usually around the same time. I’ve bought other kinds, even the Greenies, and she turns her nose up at them and walks away. I truly don’t know what I could replace them with if Sam’s discontinued these.

This is the ONLY treat both of my dogs will eat. They get one after they eat their dinner. No dinner, no treat. When I don't pay attention and run out, they go NUTS when they don't get one for dessert. I grab a bag.everytime I am in store and stock up when they are on sale.

our two 120 lb dogs treat these things like the most exclusive savory treats. they literally take them delicately and retreat to their respective "special breath bone eating spaces" where they lick sniff and savor these small treats for 15 minutes... absolutely awesome :)
