If you love irritation, then definitely, by all means. Ugh. Not only is the cutting mechanism bumpy and awkward (like the cut edge is shreddy), but the whole box slides forward while you're pulling the wrap. (This happens early on, by the way. Not at the end of the box.)

Where do I begin with the problems, the film is very thin which makes it bunch up as soon as it is cut. The cutter bar is a joke, it is not very sharp and makes cutting the film somewhat difficult causing the film to bunch up. The film rarely "sticks" to a bowl even when the rim of the bowl is moist. This product could be made much better if it had a sliding cutter. It is clear that whoever designed this has never used it in real life.

The wrap works good but they changed to a serrated cutter from the slider. With a small box that would work fine but with this huge box you just can't pick it up and cut easily. Thankfully I still had the box from the old film wrap. I used double sided tape to secure it and it works fine. Go back to the slider cutter. It works 10 times better.

I agree with all the 1 star reviews....terrible design, can't open the box without tearing it up, no description on outside of box, no slide cutter. Horrible waste of time & money. If SAMs won't give my money back, I will still not bring this useless item back home to take up storage space. I wish they would bring the slide cutter design back!

Sam's had the sliding cutter package of food service film for the last several years. I've used lots of it. Ran out. Thought I was buying the same thing again as the package had no description or detailed instruction on the outside or inside. I think most will wind up with a torn up box and 3000 feet of useless film. The most user unfriendly design I have seen. I hope Sam's will give me my money back. I will go elsewhere and buy the better film. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! THEY SHOULD OFFER A ZERO STAR RATING!!!

The issue is the tearing of the wrap half way into the roll. 1/2 the roll is thrown out as the wrap partially tears on the edges as you pull it out. You must untangle the ends, throw out a bunch, and start over. Wrap is spun poorly on the ends and tear as you pull the wrap out. Too late to return. Had one on the shelf and same issue.

I do not like the current packaging, the slide cutter is much better, and the wheels on this one are not as strong as the old plastic version. I changed this roll to my old box and rollers, however this needs to be fixed. The blade cutter is downright dangerous, the slide cutter was a much improved version!
