If you like coconut this is your oil… if you want a neutral coconut oil this is not your oil… very heavy coconut flavor in everything it touches. Not all bad…but neutral oil is better.

We love this to make our popcorn on top of the stove. You do not need any butter on your popcorn. This is the best tasting flavor. Also, we used it for a little squirrel in our yard that was losing its hair when you put the coconut oil on Sam’s Club walnuts and a couple months later he was growing his hair back. Now he is healthy and well.

My Dermatologist recommended that I use only coconut oil to moisturize my skin due to Eczema. I tried another store brand's coconut oil but I wasn't convinced. I decided to try this Member's Mark brand based on all of the great reviews and I'm glad that I did. It's high quality and smells very good and the price is great for the quantity. A little goes a long way. My skin looks & feels amazing and no other moisturizer softens my feet like this does. I oil my feet and then cover them with cotton socks. This will definitely be a staple in my house. Lastly, if you're going to moisturize your skin with coconut oil, please protect the surface underneath & around you with a towel because it starts melting immediately when you put it in your hands and it will fall on surfaces causing oil stains. I will add that it absorbs into your skin well, so you don't have to worry about the oil on your skin causing stains. Coconut oil also washes out of fabric very well.

I use coconut oil for a variety of reasons, including cooking. I bought this because of the instant savings and I like Member Mark brand on most purchases from Sam’s Club. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I don’t care for the slight fragrance of coconut but that’s just me. I use coconut oil in my hot coffee, when cooking oatmeal or frying foods. I believe in the health benefits of coconut oil. I divided it into two different jars. One for kitchen use, the other for hair conditioning and skin moisturizer. It absorbs into hair and skin, leaving it soft and not greasy. Also the coconut smell goes away.

Member's Mark Coconut Oil is a fantastic product that offers great flavor at an affordable price. I always buy it in bulk because it's the only oil I use in my cooking. Its quality and value are unmatched, making it an essential in my kitchen for both cooking and baking.

Item was shipped by throwing into a big box. Box arrived semicrushed and covered in oil. Sealed jar is not fully sealed and oil leaks out of damaged seal. Despite being inside for a few days, the oil is completely liquid. I have never seen coconut oil that is totally liquid in cool temperatures.

Had this product shipped. Since it's summer the oil liquified in transit. Was left on my porch and the oil had leaked through the box and left a puddle. The lid was barely attached to the container. I can't comment on the quality of product. Beware of shipping this item.

I started using this as a substitute for butter in many baking recipes to accommodate my vegan daughter. Then it worked so well that now I rarely use butter for baking. It’s shelf stable so that’s a plus. I also make body scrubs & homemade soap with it. I always have at least one extra jar on hand.

I have a lot of old recipes that use shortening. I replaced the shortening 1 for 1 with this coconut oil. It does have a lower melting point than shortening, However, my cakes and cookies and different things I have used it in turn out wonderful and taste awesome. I feel it is a healthier choice than shortening.
