Great organic product for all cooking and baking needs and a healthy alternative to highly refined oils. It is virgin - not refined - so it will impart a mild coconut flavor in foods. Also great for many health and cosmetic needs as well as for my dogs and their various needs. It is solid in cooler environments but melts in warmer climates, so be mindful when ordering for delivery! Better to purchase in store when it is hot weather! The price is competitive as well, which is a bonus. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is due to the awful safety seal inside the lid to protect the product and jar from contamination and leaking. It is laughable trying to remove the liner from the jar. It never comes off completely or easily with effort even when using a knife. Instead it leaves little metal flakes and pieces in the oil which is a health and safety hazard. There are also inevitably remnants of the liner left on the jar which causes a mess when trying to get out any of the oil. That is a manufacturer issue obviously and not a problem with the quality of the oil, but keep that in mind if you do not want that headache when opening a new jar each time! We settle because we like the benefits of the product and the price, but it would be great customer service to make a change in the safety liner - hint hint Members Mark! Thank you Sam's for offering this great product in store and at a competitive price.

I highly recommend you get this coconut oil from Sams club it’s the best ive used and way more cost efficient

I actually use this for skin moisturizing. It is cold pressed and unrefined. Absords well and lasts without staining cotton clothing.
