I use this all the time for two different reasons. By the time I use a gallon of milk it will spoil. I only use milk in coffee or cooking. This is much more cost-effective than buying a half a gallon of milk weekly. Also Those of us who live in a hurricane area this is good to have as part of your kit. I do 1/2 scoop to just under 1/2 cup water for instant use.

The quality of flavor and reasonable price make Member's Mark Non-Fat Instant Dry Milk great for everyday use as well as planning ahead for an unexpected event. While it is very hard to recreate the flavor of fresh dairy milk, this comes as close as you will get.

I use this milk in my fluffy white bread and it ruins some batches and turns them yellow. I bake about 40 loaves per day and have isolated the yellowing as this milk powder. It overconditions the dough somehow. I have to switch to a more consistent and dependable brand which is unfortunate because I use other members mark products daily as well. Now I have to make an extra trip somewhere else to get better behaved milk. Why does the keep happening?

I bought this for drinking so taste was what I was going after and in the past several weeks, have bought close to $100 worth of different instant powdered milks. The Member's Mark does not taste like real non-fat milk, nor does it taste "different but just as good as milk," like Augason Farm's Morning Moo, but it is as good as any I found and not bad in a pinch.

I keep this on hand for emergencies or times when I run out of milk. I live on a mountain top with a mile long driveway, when the snow falls I can no longer get to the market. This mixes easily with cold water just by shaking well. It tastes pretty good for powdered milk. The only thing I don't like is the smell of the milk while chilling in the container, does not affect the taste or my review rating. This use to be $14.98 and now $17.28 but, even with the price increase it is still worth having on hand for emergencies. The shelf life is listed as about 1 year, unopened, but in a cool dry storage area, even after 2 years it is still useable, no mold. I do recommend this.

I like to keep this around to mix in with regular milk as an extender. The taste is good and while I don't really know or care if it is any cheaper it does reduce the trips to the grocery store, I drink alot of milk. I also use it for baking when the mood strikes me.

Getting pricier like everything. Still better than throwing out fresh milk that's spoiled but my income is fixed and I'm 68 with health issues. Memberships are expensive too and I already can't afford Sam's meat or frozen stuff. I only hang on for a few basics. Just venting.

This dry milk is great. The packaging is inconsistent. This latest order was for 4 bags of the milk. I've opened 3 of them so far and all of them had zip lock tape that was not attached to the walls of the bag. Therefore the bag was not sealable with the ziploc feature.

Thought i might be the exception and receive my order intact. NOPE. powdered milk was leaking out of multiple holes and onto every single other thing i ordered. The holes aren't from punctures in the bag from shipping (in my opinion) but from along the seams of the packaging. I knew id immediately need to transfer it all to another container, thats assuming it was even safe to drink considering its "open/leaking", but this stuff is not cheap so i guess im taking the gamble. Ended up putting it in multiple ziplocks. This process caused powdered milk to find its way onto my floor and all over my kitchen. Just one big flippin' mess. This product needs to come in a canister. Sam's....please do better. Will not order again until packaging is improved. :-(

I was excited to try this. Price is great for the size. I usually drink Nido Powdered Milk which costs more but tastes better. Members Mark Dry Milk has an aftertaste I do not care for. I mean, it’s not bad, but after drinking another brand for a long time, I find this inferior. Also, it doesn’t mix as easily as my preferred brand.
