We had one of the glass containers sitting in the sink hours after it had been taken out of the refrigerator waiting to be washed. Late in the evening we heaed popping sounds. We went over to the sink and found the container feom earlier had exploded in the sink. No water had been running on it, nothing hit it to cause it to shatter. There is no explanation as to why this so-called tempered glass would randomly explode.

The only complaint I have is that they don't nest too good. That needs to be redone. Otherwise, I love them, use them daily. Have one set, but am ordering 2 more!! Extremely easy to clean! Easy to store in the fridge or freezer! I am in the process of swapping out all of my plastic for these glass ones!

I am totally impressed by the quality of the food container. It is pretty and hold food very well. After using all kinds of containers, I decided that glassware for food storage is better. Food retain flavors and shape better in glassware. Great purchase.

Hey, listen up! These glass containers are thick, man. The lids can be a pain to snap on some of them, but it's doable. I got them for $20 on sale, which was a steal. Even if they weren't on sale, they'd still be worth the price. The rubber seal fits perfectly in the lid and hasn't come loose, even after microwaving and dishwashing (tried on top and on the bottom shelf, of course). I can't give them a perfect score because the lids need a bit of breaking in before they're easy to latch and seal. But overall, I'd give them an A-. Thanks, Sam's, for a great product at a great price!

Bought these to add to my preexisting set. They have redesigned the lids and closing mechanisms to make them no longer compatible with the old set. The lip is very small and the gasket extends beyond the tip of the lid, which I think will lead to them falling out too easily.

• Lids hard to close • Seals stain easily • Most disturbingly, at the slightest chance that someone sets the container down harder than it should, the edges of the containers flake glass. I’ve opened my drawers to find shards of glass in the bottom. These are not long term solutions but they are cute. Buy Ello brand. They do none of this.

These bowls and lids are shear quality and better than I anticipated! There are several varying sizes, . The glass is heavy duty. The lids are a heavy duty plastic with a great snap on seal! I have only used them for storage and microwaving so far but am Very satisfied with the purchase. The bonus part was I purchased during a "Savings Event". Sale or not, IF you are looking for quality, I believe you'll be pleased!

I appreciate getting 12 pieces (plus lids) at a great price. What I do not like is: the blue ring around the lid is a separate piece, kind of like a large rubber band. That means fighting to put it back into the lid, losing it in the washing process or the seal cracks or wears out before the product does. I just unpacked these, realized the seal issue and put them back in the box to return. A better design would be one-piece construction on the lid so it seals properly. No thank you. I do not recommend.

Wonderful product! What I like about my Glasslock is it’s versatility. The glass bowls are attractive and can be used as serving bowls even at a fancy dinner party. They are perfect for left overs and stackable In the refrigerator to save space. They easily go from refrigerator to oven. The lids snap on easily and are air tight. I highly recommend this high quality glass storage set for one’s kitchen and for gifts.

If you get a good set, lucky you. This company has poor quality control, a lot of people on here commented the same that the lids are arriving cracked or broken. Mine also was cracked upon arrival. I have emailed customer service hoping for a replacement.
