These are nice until you try to take the rubber out of the lid for thorough washing. I've only had these about 2 months and have already thrown about half out because the rubber doesn't cone out easily and when it does it breaks or gets punctured, mind you that's using dull plastic items to remove the rubber.

A glass shard impaled my tongue twice and I could not figure out where the glass was coming from. It was coming from under the rim and falling into the bottom container as I was stacking them. I'm just glad that it happened to me instead of my two kids. I called Sam's club for a refund and told them that this product is not safe. They refused to give me a refund because I didn't have the receipt from 6 months ago.

I've used glass storage containers for years. I typically get them at the other membership warehouse, but got these from Sam's Club a few weeks ago. As usual, they work just fine as a glass storage container, but my concern is that they actually don't dry in the dishwasher. My other glass containers and glasses dry perfectly. The only thing that never dries in a dishwasher is plastic which makes me wonder of what kind of glass are these made? I always thought glass was the same, (in this case Pyrex style glass) but these seem to be a different composition which is somewhat concerning.

Just used them for the first time tonight. The glass is nice and thick, but I had to fight to get the lid to snap shut. I even checked the other lids to make sure I just didn't have the wrong size. It makes me doubt its effectiveness in being airtight. Would hate to see what it's like if you have liquids to store.

I had been looking for containers that a one handed person could open without having to use a second hand to hold (someone that lost the use of their dominant hand due to a stroke) when I found these, I bought one set. Being made from glass they don't stain, clean easily, and the tops can be taken off with only one hand. I quickly bought a second set and use them for everything now, storing my lettuce even. Veggies seem to stay fresher longer in them. Also I use a permanent marker to write on the lids. I use a spray soap on the lid and the marker comes right off. I will be buying more!!!

I absolutely hate these glass containers! To start off, my husband and I recently switched all of our plastic containers to glass. I saw this set on sale for $20. I was so excited to get them and try them out. I read a ton of reviews on the Sam's website. A lot of people complained about how hard they are to open & close. I thought, how tough can it really be to open and close lids??? So I bought them. AWFUL! Oh boy, I wish I had not even see these. I was unable to open 3/4 of them. My husband really struggled to open them but we finally got them all opened. Washed them up. COULD NOT GET THEM TO CLOSE!! It's insane!! I don't know how these are rated above one star for anyone. IMPOSSIBLE! I'm so sad. I was real excited about these. Down another $20.

I bought two sets of these and love them overall, however my biggest issues with them is if/when they get stuck together they DO NOT COME apart. I had to throw away the two largest ones because I tried every trick I could find on google, youtube, etc. to try and unstick them and they would not budge. Be careful with stacking these together if they are wet or moist, the moisture creates a seal that WILL NOT break apart.

I've had few issues, but then again, I'm not very hard on them. One time only, I tried one out in the oven. I reheated lasagna at ~300°F for only as much time as I thought necessary, but after I dished some out from the side for someone else, I discovered that the inside of the remainder wasn't as warm as wanted. After microwaving a moderate amount of time at less than high power, I dug into my food. Only a few bites in, I heard a loud POP, & found that my long-anticipated treat was ruined with glass shards. The glass had shattered from lip to base in several large pieces. I hadn't set it down on a cold surface, but a cork trivet. If you're going to test the glass's hardiness, maybe don't do it in the oven & then the microwave (?)

The glass is quality, but the lids are pretty much useless. The gasket has to be removed for cleaning, because liquids get between it a d the lid. But the gasket is impossible to remove, without using something pointy, which runs the gasket. If whatever you put in these starts to mold, (you know how it is. Got stuck in the back of fridge, and forgotten) the mold stain on the gasket is impossible to clean off. The glass is wonderfully sturdy and thick. However, anything you heat in these, will take 4 times longer to heat than in other microwaveable containers. The dish will be too hot to touch, while the food inside is just lukewarm, repeatedly. I do NOT reccomend these!

Storage containers are heavy duty and lids fit very nicely. I hand wash my lids and never had a problem with them fitting poorly. I however lost a lid for my 2 cup square container and the only way to get a replacement lid was to return the whole set for a new one. I'll make due for now since I feel that it's a waste to dispose of perfectly fine product for one item
