I am going on my third set because these are the longest lasting always tightly secure containers I have ever had. A word of advise, if you store them with the lids, dry them thoroughly to prevent mold on the rubber seal and always make sure the rubber seals are washed well. They'll last you forever!

Just used them for the first time tonight. The glass is nice and thick, but I had to fight to get the lid to snap shut. I even checked the other lids to make sure I just didn't have the wrong size. It makes me doubt its effectiveness in being airtight. Would hate to see what it's like if you have liquids to store.
