I absolutely hate these glass containers! To start off, my husband and I recently switched all of our plastic containers to glass. I saw this set on sale for $20. I was so excited to get them and try them out. I read a ton of reviews on the Sam's website. A lot of people complained about how hard they are to open & close. I thought, how tough can it really be to open and close lids??? So I bought them. AWFUL! Oh boy, I wish I had not even see these. I was unable to open 3/4 of them. My husband really struggled to open them but we finally got them all opened. Washed them up. COULD NOT GET THEM TO CLOSE!! It's insane!! I don't know how these are rated above one star for anyone. IMPOSSIBLE! I'm so sad. I was real excited about these. Down another $20.

I recently purchased this set and have been using it for a few weeks now. This may very well be the best purchase I have ever made at Sam’s! The quality and price are top notch! The glass is thick and the lids provide a very tight seal so the containers do not leak. The variety of sizes are perfect. And one of the best features is that the containers nest in each other for storage with the lids on! No need to store covers separately where they can get misplaced. I hand wash mine, but they are dishwasher safe. Upon first unboxing them, some of the seals came out, but they are easy to push back in and fit very tightly. If I could give this item 10 stars, I would! This set is worth every penny and I HIGHLY recommend it!

We had one of the glass containers sitting in the sink hours after it had been taken out of the refrigerator waiting to be washed. Late in the evening we heaed popping sounds. We went over to the sink and found the container feom earlier had exploded in the sink. No water had been running on it, nothing hit it to cause it to shatter. There is no explanation as to why this so-called tempered glass would randomly explode.

We just bought these yesterday, 5/12/25 and loaded them in the dishwasher (lids on top rack). Within a couple of minutes we heard some noise and opened the dishwasher to find one of the medium containers had broken in several pieces. They seem like quality glass and lids and are rated so highly with thousands of reviews, so it was disappointing to have it break upon initial cleaning.

I bought two sets of these and love them overall, however my biggest issues with them is if/when they get stuck together they DO NOT COME apart. I had to throw away the two largest ones because I tried every trick I could find on google, youtube, etc. to try and unstick them and they would not budge. Be careful with stacking these together if they are wet or moist, the moisture creates a seal that WILL NOT break apart.

The glass is nice, but the seals are terrible. The seals are not a solid piece of rubber or silicone they are hollow tubes. They rip open very easily because they are hollow. I have ripped 2 of them already. To wash the lid you have to pry out the seal and then bang a hole. Obviously once the seal has a hole there is no way to wash it.

I was very happy with these until I realized,you have to remove the rubber seal and wash it separately. It’s very hard to clean the plastic lids. Food sticks in the corners of the design. Liquids get under the green seal and I have to pop it out with a spoon in the corner. One lid has cracked on s corner already after about 10 uses. Have always hand washed these. Very unhappy that one lid has cracked from the corner inwards. the edges of the design in the lids are so rough food sticks in them . Look closely when you wash if you’re particular. Caution when snapping and unsnapping lids. Make sure they are perfectly centered on square.

Storage containers are heavy duty and lids fit very nicely. I hand wash my lids and never had a problem with them fitting poorly. I however lost a lid for my 2 cup square container and the only way to get a replacement lid was to return the whole set for a new one. I'll make due for now since I feel that it's a waste to dispose of perfectly fine product for one item

A glass shard impaled my tongue twice and I could not figure out where the glass was coming from. It was coming from under the rim and falling into the bottom container as I was stacking them. I'm just glad that it happened to me instead of my two kids. I called Sam's club for a refund and told them that this product is not safe. They refused to give me a refund because I didn't have the receipt from 6 months ago.

If you get a good set, lucky you. This company has poor quality control, a lot of people on here commented the same that the lids are arriving cracked or broken. Mine also was cracked upon arrival. I have emailed customer service hoping for a replacement.
