Just started my dog on this. Not sure if it's related but she has thrown up twice. And yes I gradually switched the food mixing it until old was gone. She loves the new food though so I'm not sure if it is the food or not. Anyone have any idea or think it could be the food? She eats the chicken one.

We got our 70 lb mixed breed dog as a puppy in May 2020. Sam's brand food had good quality ingredients (no byproduct meals) and so we started him on the puppy food, then moved up to adult food as he grew. He's never had any other type of dry dog food. His black coat is shiny and sleek, and he has had no health problems, so this food is working for us. He doesn't gobble it down immediately (only because he's always hopeful something better, like a table scrap, may come along first.) For those concerned about the fact this food doesn't contain vegetables, well, he's a dog - they don't need vegetables or grains in their diet like people do. My only complaint is that the price of this food is almost $15 more than when I originally started purchasing it, but it's still cheaper than those other premium foods, and IMO, good quality. I will continue to purchase as long as my dog will eat it!

My dog has a large cancer tumor on her front left leg. After switching from Blue Buffalo dog food to Member's Mark and give her less food, her cancer diapered in about 1-2 months saving us a lot of money that we would have spent going to the vet. We might switch to the Members Mark salmon version or American Journey, but I think this dog food is one of the top 2 dog foods that money can buy

She loves this flavor and the lamb and rice. Great vet check up. He asked what we were feeding her and types of treats and he said keep doing the same. The bags have a nice zipper on top too...easy to use and store. I feel good about the ingredients and the price is excellent for the quality.

I BOUGHT THIS BY ACCIDENT AND THOUGHT I WOULD TRY IT. I HAVE 3 ENGLISH BULLDOGS...TWO OF THEM FELT REALLY BAD AND HAD DIARRHEA WHILE ONE OF THEM THREW UP BLOOD>>>LOTS OF BLOOD. I HAD TO TAKE HER TO THE VET. SHE WAS SO DEHYDRATED THAT THEY COULDNT GET BLOOD. THEY HAD TO KEEP HER AND GIVER HER IV FLUIDS. SHE IS FINALLY BETTER AFTER ALMOST $300.

Switched to this brand about a year ago and never had any issues untill this last bag. Bought on April 17, 2018. She got really bad diarrhea. We figured it was a stomach bug so I made her bland chicken and rice and it cleared up in a few days. We continued the balnd diet for a week. As soon as we started back on the dog food it started back up.

My 3YO lab mix has never had seasonal allergies, so I was a bit surprised when he suddenly started constantly licking his paws. It got so bad (all through the night licking, then gooey eyes in morning) that I took him to vet. Wasn't until later I realized I had switched his food from the Rachel Ray stuff I usually buy at Sam's (but preferably Purina One when I can find it) around the same time the paw licking started. A previous dog I had DID have similar symptoms caused by allergies, but this was not that. Switching away from this and lesson learned I guess not to cheap out on dog food.

Thought I would up grade from the performance Food. Apparently it was not an up grade. My dogs would not touch this food. I have a 70lb Pitbull that's eats everything but would not eat this food. It did not look tasty, more like dog food that had been in the sun for a year.

I was purchasing Nulo for about 1.5 years notice my husky having itchy skin conditions & my frenchie and Pittbull having gas for a very expensive dog food I didn't expect that. They have been eating this food for about a month & I have no complaints. My Pitt & frenchie don't have gas like before, my huskies skin is almost completely cleared up. Only thing is I wish it came in a 50lb bag instead of 35lb bag.

My two German Shepherds have been eating Exceed Chicken and Rice for over two years after switching from Blue Buffalo (They will soon be 4 years old). I compared the two brands and found EXCEED was the same or better than BB. I changed after the 2nd BB recall, my Shepherds food is important to me. My Shepherds are hooked on their EXCEED Chicken and Rice. I have never tried the Salmon formula... I would worry about any fish sourced out of the Pacific anymore.
