I've been active in canine rescue for thirty years, There are currently nine dogs-in-residence, ranging in size from a long-haired miniature Dachshund to a Great Pyrenees. I've been feeding the present version of Exceed Chicken and Rice and its predecessor exclusively for many years. The reason is simple: I read labels. The nutritional content of this food is outstanding, and far outshines many "major label" foods. Read the labels for yourself, and I think you'll agree. In addition, my dogs all LOVE Exceed Chicken and Rice. If I had a dog with skin issues, I'd feed the lamb version. Simply put, I think this is the most nutritionally-sound dog food available. I buy two bags at a time, when my guys have gone through one bag, just so I don't run out, because my local club sometimes DOES run out. TRY IT! See if I'm not correct!

I highly recommend the Member's Mark chicken & rice dog food. Our 95 lb. 10yr old Catahoula Hound mix grew up on Purina dog food; but in her older age started having digestive problems resulting in horrible gas. She would clear the room when she released gas! I researched and found that changing to a chicken/rice blend may help…and it did!

I recently switched from Blue Buffalo after comparing ingredients. This brand is almost 1/2 the price and the same ingredients. We've been using this for almost 3 months now and my dogs couldn't be happier.

You get a large bag of food for a decent price. I compared this food to the Blue Buffalo that I had been purchasing for our 2 dogs and found that the ingredients and percentages of vitamins and minerals were very similar only off by very small percentages. I have been using this food since.

I had to purchase this Member's Mark and Rice Recipe because the Member's Mark Grain Free Salmon I always buy in the store wasn't available in the store or online. It was weeks and weeks before I could order online. I was online every few days. Our 3 dobermans do very well on the grain free food. Then, finally it was avilable online (still no in the stores) so I figured I would get the Chicken and Rice and Salmon so I wouldn't run out. Very disappointed I had to go through this! 5 stars for the food, but no stars for Sam's Club.

I was a little apprehensive when I bought this to try for my pups. But they love it. And I love that it's not $60 a bag!

I'm always reluctant to change food for my picky eater, but this compared to Blue and so I thought I would try. She GOBBLES it up! Apparently, it tastes great to my little hound!

For years we fed our dog the blue bag Member Mark dog food and it was great. For some reason they discontinued that product and replaced it with this one. The feeding instruction indicate you should feed your dog more of this one, indicating it has more fillers and less protein. Our dog is a lab, so she will eat anything. This product seems OK, just miss the old version. Wonder why the old blue bag version went away?

After phasing in the food from the previous grain free dry food over a period of two weeks, there have been some real unexpected surprises in there ability to digest the food. First it was a combination of loose stools and occasional regurgitation to now less loose stills and rigorous breaking wind. My Vet has suggested that if it doesn't end soon to go back to their old food.

Neither of my dogs enjoyed this food-they would smell it and back away before eating it. One got sick and threw up. Changed back to their usual food and they are happy!
