I had my dogs on this food prior to the "upgrade" & I loved this product. One of my dogs has allergies so it was very difficult to find a food that worked for all 3 of them. Since the "upgrade" my dog has been severely itchy, his skin is red & welted in spots. So not only it the "upgrade" degrade the product but we lost several pound of food & still pay the same price! Very unfortunate.

We were feeding our dog Blue Buffalo, but saw this in the club and decided to try. We had tried other foods before Blue Buffalo and he didn't eat them or they weren't good for him. We were hesitant to switch his food, but Sams has the guarantee so it was worth a try. He loves it and it has been good for him.

This is a great dog food! My dogs love it. However they now have decreased the bag from 45 pounds to 35 and the price stayed the same. I will now go back to Blue Buffalo. A lot of products at sam's are getting smaller and prices stay the same or they add a few more items (like water) and jack up the price a dollar or more. Hormel pre-cooked bacon went up $3.00 a pack. I think it's better for me to take my membership money I pay every year and put it back in my pocket. Grocery stores are just as competitive price wise.

I'm glad to have this new super premium dog food at Sam's. I don't use dog foods with corn, soy, or wheat products in them so that meant I had to make special trips to get my dogs the right food. The pricing is great. Yes, of course it's more expensive per pound than the inferior version of this food once sold, but comparing that to this is apples to oranges. This food compares nutritionally to brands and varieties sold at specialty pet stores, which cost more. In that comparison, this is a great thing and a smart move by Sam's.

Was excited to find this product with decent ingredients and a fair price. Almost immediately after giving this food to our dog she had major gas, diarrhea, and gastro upset. She was clearly not feeling well. As soon as we stopped the food it all cleared up. :(

This used to be a 44 lb. bag of dog food and is now a 35 lb. bag, for the same price! The protein content was reduced also. I can't see how anyone would be willing to pay the same amount of money for less product and reduced nutrition. I'm very disappointed.

Great for allergy prone dogs. We've tried several brands, including high priced ones, but have found that Member's Mark Exceed Dry Dog Food, Chicken & Rice works great and stops our allergy prone dogs from having diarrhea. Our dogs don't hesitate to eat it.

My boy is 6. When we got him he was on kibbles and bits. Was always told not to mix up your dogs food. Following that advice we kept him on it for 5 years. No issues. Happy, healthy Sarge. Well in December he started throwing up. At least once a week. Vet said it was okay as it wasnt every time he ate, etc. I still didnt like it. I switched to this food hoping better quality would help. We are in October now and he hasnt thrown up since December. I recommend this food to all my friends and family with dogs. The dogs love it, too!

We noticed excessive itching with our dog and decided to try a grain free food. He also has a sensitive stomach. After pricing several grain free foods we decided to give this a try. Within about a week the itching stopped and he loves the taste of it. We are happy with this product and so is our dog. It was definitely worth trying!

They changed the bag, and apparently the quality as well. My dog is super sensitive and this WAS the only food he could eat without getting very bad gas. However, with the new bag upgrade and price hike, we apparently got the random sweep of floor food added in as well. The bottom of the bag was filled with crumbs, like A LOT and several of the scoops would randomly have remnants of other food (looked like cat food) in it. I switched to Chewy for my dog food needs, better quality and same price now.
