There is a definite lavender scent, but it is pleasant and not overpowering. The scent seems to last 3-5 days before starting to fade, it varies depending on what goes in the trash. Since these are "flex" bags, they do not immediately fill my trash can all the way to the bottom, but they do expand as items are added. I have had no issues with tearing or ripping. The seams hold up well and the tie strings do not pull out. Overall, very pleased and would definitely purchase again.

This time when I reordered online, I was sent the bags but now they have a fragrance. I am very sensitive to perfumes and fragrances. I try to avoid all products with added perfumes and fragrances. The fragrance in the bags causes me problems with sneezing and coughing. I hope they still market them without an added smell. If not, then I need to find another maker of trash bags that are fragrance free. Very disappointing as I really like the trash bags.

The bags never break or leak. I don’t know the physics of it but the bags stretch and appear to have a diamond pattern in the plastic. In any case I tie them and carry them by the drawstrings and it’s remarkable at times. But what we love is that they are scented on their inside so there’s never any odor from the garbage. Really great product. I’m not one to get excited about things like this but for the occasional exceptional product such as this.

We run a vacation rental on Whidbey Island, The Quintessa, so we go through quite a few boxes of these per year. The only difference we noticed, which is a good one, is that Sam's Club sells these garbage bags for the same price DELIVERED as they did in the stores. Now that all the Sam's Club stores are closed in our state (WA), drive to Sam's Club is no longer an option. These Power Flex bags are fine. Sam's TP is better then Costco. Home Delivery is amazing at no adding cost. This saves all the trips off island trips via ferry to get car loads full of garbage bags, TP, napkins, etc. : )

WRONG11111 the name brand was horrible. every week at least one bag had leaked in our trash can and we continually had to clean it weekly. Thank goodness these Members Mark bags are back in stock. after using them for this short period of time amazing my trash can is bone dry with no leaks. not sure who makes these for Sam's but Hefty needs to take notice.
