Member's Mark products are usually equal to and sometimes even better than the brand name. This is not true with the bacon crumbles. PLEASE go back to HORMEL. This product is chewy, full of gristle that is not tasty, and many of the pieces are hard and not edible...

I have tried this product several times. I keep hoping it will get better, but it never does. I have found that there is an awful taste, almost rancid. It is extremely greasy with pieces of bacon mostly fat. Sam's used to sell Hormel Real Bacon bits. It is a far superior product, wish it was still available at Sam's. I will not purchase this Members Mark again. I certainly don't understand all of the high ratings. I have been a Sam's Club member for almost 30 years, this is the worst product I have ever bought there.

I usually love everything Members Mark offers, and I find the quality comparable to name brands. The bag of bacon bits I got was mostly fat. Literally clumps of fatty bacon with very little meat. I have to fry these first just to use them, whereas with other brands I can toss them into whatever I’m making. These would be disgusting if I tried that. Since other reviewers are saying the exact opposite I’ll try another bag. Fingers crossed for better quality!

Nothing beats hot bacon and the heavenly smell that fills the house. However, when a recipe calls for a couple of slices chopped or you need something to add to an omelet or salad this is my go to. I have used it in several holiday dishes as well and no one knows I didn't spend all day over a stove. Microwave for a few seconds and it crisps right up, not chewy. After all, it is bacon, without the work and clean up.

This product changed a couple years ago and the first time we bought it after the switch up the bacon was grisly and chewy and we couldn't even finish the bag. Have not repurchased since. Bring back the old formulation and stop filling with cheap junk, this one is terrible. Would not recommend.

I only get to shop at Sam's club once a month being on a fixed income. Last month (October 2024) I bought a bag of bacon crumbles because the bag we had in the fridge was discovered by the hungry teenager and ate. So I bought a new bag. Well we didn't get to open it until today (November 27th 2024) and the whole bag of bacon bits is mold. Green and white mold. I don't know what happened to get moldy. The store doesn't refrigerate the bacon so I don't until it's open.. so why would this bag be moldy if we haven't opened it until today? Never have had this problem in the past.

I have bought these for about the past 3 years. This is no longer a quality product. The last four bags have been full of gristle. (Apparently I'm a slow learner) You can't take a bit of salad without having a piece of gristle. I bought two bags that arrived this week and my first salad -- 3 pieces of gristle. Yuk!

Don't waste your money on these. They have hard pieces of rind or something in them. Hard enough to break teeth. They are not nearly as good as the Hormel brand. I used to depend on Sam's for my bacon bits. Now I have to find another source. I am not even sure this is real bacon. I NEVER give reviews but was so disappointed in this brand I had to.

My family loves these bacon bits! I always have 1-2 bags in the freezer and one in the fridge. We use them in EVERYTHING (soups, pasta, eggs, salad, toppings, etc.) and they are so convenient. There is very little bacon grease (just enough to add flavor), and having the portion control is a huge plus. Even though we use it in so much, the bag does last us a long time. Great value!

I use real bacon bits quite often, but have never tried these before. I put them in potato soup and they were so gristly that it ruined the soup. The soup had to be thrown out and the Crumbled Bacon will be thrown out. In these Covid times it is not worth the price of them to go into the store to return them and possibly be exposed to Covid. I would highly recommend many Member's Mark items, but these are horrible. There is no way to give no stars.
