I have bought pecans from Sams Club for years, but since the brand of pecans have changed I have not gotten one single bag that actually tasted good! The taste is so bad that I have actually had to trash several batches of cookies and candies that were to be for sharing at Christmas time. Now I have three bags left in my freezer that will have to be thrown away because I cannot trust the freshness to cook with and share with friends and family ($$$$$). Please bring back the "YOUNG" brand of pecans. Until brands change I will not purchase any pecans from your company.

I opened a bag of these pecans tonight and used them in a casserole. I am still tasting stale nuts. Besides that, my casserole is ruined. I bought them approximately a month ago but only opened the bag tonight. I found a few nuts that were dry and shriveled, but mainly my complaint is that they were stale. I read the reviews on the Sam's Club website and many reviewers would like for Sam's to bring back their previous brand. This is the first time I have bought pecans at Sam's. It will be my last unless they change brands.

Many bags of Daily Chef Pecans and Walnuts taste old and are rank and stinky. Almost very purchase of this product from the Sam's Club in Hiram end in the trash until I realized that I was throwing my money away. I then began to return them. Sometimes I am able to get a good bag from the Marietta store. I still use the product when I can purchase a good bag from Marietta's Samsclub store.

Recent purchase after not purchasing for a while … thought quality would’ve been better by now … NO CHANGES! Still TERRIBLE nuts … many pieces dried and shriveled… bitter tasting … sort for edible pieces … quality severely compromised!! Sam’s please do better!!! In this case … quality over quantity/cost should be considered!!!

Good product

We purchased at least 10 bags of these pecans to make candied pecans for 100 guests as wedding favors this spring. I can't attest to how they tasted raw as we pretty much cooked them immediately but they were quite delicious and tender once candied. If you're planning on buying these for cooking or baking, the price is an amazing deal.

its hit or miss on these pecans. sometimes good , most times dried up. this lot is the worst : 28383 exp. 03-18-2023. this batch tastes like they have been baked. if they are baked state that on package. could be a bad crop or company repackaging old/unsold nuts in new bags.. returning
