I guess I got a bad bag. These were old and not fresh even though they were within date. They were shriveled and dark and tasted bad. Only a few were edible.

Many dried nuts in a bag. Bought several times and always the same. Maybe if used in recipes no one would notice. But for snacking they are terrible. Never again.

These are totally different from the brand you had before. They are not fresh, they are soft and not crunch like the brand before. The taste bland. I returned the item.

The quality is very inconsistent in the pecan halves that Sam's sells. It is rare that the pecans are not mostly dried up and tasteless. I'm not buying them again until the quality is improved. I will happily pay more for decent pecans elsewhere.

I guess for the price, I should not have expected much. They were poor to fair in terms of taste. But, if one doesn't care about taste and not much about texture (not crunchy like pecans should be), they are okay. I wouldn't buy them again.

I buy these pecan haves often but the last bag I got was terrible. The halves were small and very dark like they had be partially cooked and had a burned smell. Not what I expected since the prior orders were very good.

Last few bags I've purchased, the pecans taste BURNT, which is weird considering they are supposed to be raw. If you look at the pecans, they appear dark, in reading, dark pecans are not fresh, but old.

I've been buying these a Sam's for years and the quality has steadily gotten worse. Completely agree with other negative reviewers. 1/5 stars is a big stretch, will not buy again!

Nuts were stale when we opened them and they had many pieces of pecan hulls in them. One thing I dislike are biting into hulls in my desserts. Please bring back your old brand.

NOT fresh any more, tastes bitter, and old...it is mixed with a few fresh pecans to feel legit ,.. what a shame and total fraud! put it together! this is fraud the least i can say! wont buy any more!
