I read some of the reviews and could hardly believe some of the low reviews; so I decided to add this review. I’m kinda picky, but they seemed very fresh to me. I personally thought the were great! I bought them early May 2018.

These are totally different from the brand you had before. They are not fresh, they are soft and not crunch like the brand before. The taste bland. I returned the item.

I've purchased this brand w/o any problem for the last year; but my Jan.2023 order was a bad batch. the halves were dry and extremely bitter. This had to be an old batch.

Opened the bag and found webbing all throughout - sign of pantry pest of some sort...absolutely disgusting, and not eligible for return because it was apparently purchased through some "wholesale program" unbeknowst to me when placing the order.

I guess for the price, I should not have expected much. They were poor to fair in terms of taste. But, if one doesn't care about taste and not much about texture (not crunchy like pecans should be), they are okay. I wouldn't buy them again.

Since right before the first of 2018 I’ve tried to buy these pecans 4 times and every bag were terrible!!! They were hard old shriveled. I hope Sam’s takes these off the shelves and please bring edible pecans back.

I didn't taste the nuts before I used them and I'm so bummed. They taste rotten and yet it is a brand new bag. Thanks for ruining my old school sheet cake recipe. :(

30% price increase in 70% drop in quality. Over the past 6 weeks, I purchased two bags. Both bags contained old, dry, and very dark nuts that taste very old/stale.

I purchased 2 bags and they're both full of bad pieces. For every quarter cup, i'm pulling out 5-6 bad pieces. The big Great Value bags at Walmart are way better. May only have 5-6 bad pieces in that whole bag - and they taste better. For now, i'm just sifting through these 2 bags to use them up in baking because they're no good for snacking.
