We'd purchased a few boxes over the past year, but our most recent purchase (in December 2017) was a different texture, much like baby food, and was rejected by my children for the texture.

I always buy this apple sauce! But this time my kids said it taste like yogurt, so my husband tasted it and it was bitter and tasted like yogurt that had spoiled! Returning tomorrow! Must be a bad batch! So disappointed.

Do not get this. The texture is weird, and the taste is worse. I gave it a shot even after reading the other reviews...they were right. It's just not good.

I bought this unsweetened applesauce so long ago I can't find it in my purchase history. The expiration date is 4/21, and I have over a dozen cups left. I regret waiting so long to review it, and, hence, don't feel I should take advantage of the !00% satisfaction guarantee. This applesauce is so tart, it's difficult to believe it's made from ripe, red apples as pictured on its beautiful box! I usually add stevia, cinnamon, and sometimes brown sugar, to make it palatable, which defeats the purpose of purchasing an unsweetened product. Most Member's Mark products are very good, but this one just didn't make the grade.

You get a HUGE crate of these for DIRT-CHEAP & they taste really good too,normally apple sauce is pretty bland but these ones taste like they're made from a fancy variety of apple.These are a extremely convenient way to get more healthy produce in your diet.These usually don't expire for quite a while too so you can realistically use them all whether only 1 person is eating them or you've got a entire hive of kids buzzing around the crate daily.Perfect for at home & on-the-go.You can even add a little tasty Members Mark organic cinnamon,raw honey,or organic maple syrup to jazz it up.(:

There was another person that posted that this item used to taste great, but the quality has either changed or perhaps it was an one-off case. I think the same thing happened to me. There is something off about the taste and I used to love it!. I'd normally give this product 5 stars, but after this happening twice to me, I don't think I can buy this again.

Bought these for hurricane prep so got stuck with them when we never lost power. So I gave them a try. Wow! Tastes like apples, not sugar. My mom doesn't like it - but she's addicted to sugar. If you want an applesauce that isn't trying to kill you - this is the stuff.

We liked the Indian Summer natural applesauce that Sam's sold previously but is no longer available so we tried the Member's Mark brand. We do not plan to try it again. The texture reminds me of baby food and the taste, just isn't as good as it could be. It's not bad, just not great. It is at a good price if that is your primary criteria. Sadly, we could not recommend it at this time. If Sam's brings back Indian Summer, we will buy that...

Been buying MM applesauce for years. The little cups are easy for my fosters to manage. I eat them infrequently, so I was shocked at how the taste had changed. It used to be sweet (even without sugar added), but now it's super tart. I thought it was a bad batch, but it's still good, by its expiration date. Some of the reviews on here show it may not be an isolated situation. Maybe they're adding too much ascorbic acid, which is one of the 3 ingredients. The qty for the price is the best deal, but can't deal with the taste. If it continues to taste the same, I'll stop buying it.

I love applesauce and try to eat it everyday. Sam's applesauce is half the price per cup of my local grocery store brand. Honestly, I prefer my grocery store brand which is exceptional but Sam's is very good and I will continue to buy it. As much as I eat the savings great.
