We used to use the Daily Chef pancake mix all the time for our church's pancake breakfasts. It was, IMO, just as good as Krusteaz. This new stuff tastes like cake mix, not pancake mix. My kids won't eat it. On top of that, now, Krusteaz is no longer available in the warehouses. Now I have to order Krusteaz online, which is OK if I'm thinking far enough ahead. I'm very disappointed.

The first time I purchased this after sams switched from the krusteeze brand it was fine. Just purchased second bag and have made 2 separate batches both turned out thin and flat. I made a third batch after adding some baking soda and they were a bit better but not great. Waste of money

There are better pancake mixes but none as cheap. Not a big fan of this one. The mix smells sickly sweet. The pancakes I made were fluffy inside but very tough on the outside. I'm not a fan of the fake vanilla flavoring. I will try to learn to love this stuff since I have 10 lbs of it but I'm fairly certain it's going to end up in the landfill.

I use this waffle mix to make waffles for a church breakfast. I use the waffle mix receipe that is on the bag. I use a professional waffle maker. I spray the waffle grids before oil before I use a measure cup to pour in batter. When the waffle is ready the green light comes on.I remove the waffle which appears to be crisp. I place it in pan to keep warm and then place in a chaffing pan to be serve. I use no water. With 5 minutes the waffles become rubbery. How can I keep the waffles crispy. I welcome any feedback. We serve over 160 church members children and adults.

I wish Sam's would bring back the Daily Chef Pancake mix...it was so much like my mother's homemade recipe and tasted better than any pancake mix on the market. I do not like this new kind at all...the Members mark pancake mix is so tough my family could hardly cut it with a knife! Taste isn't great either. Sorry Sam's Club...I'll pass on this product. I just can't find anything to like about it.

we like the members mark, it tasted good enough and my kids liked them, but now the only I can find is this members mark, it taste bad, they don't rise so it taste and look like piece of rubber, I had to add eggs, milk, baking powder and butter for it to cook a little bit better. Please bring back the members mark brand or improve this one.

First thought after I added the water: that smells weird. It was super sweet and not at all like pancakes. My husband said they tasted like a rubber mat. They just had a strange texture, smell and taste. Like they added too much sugar and vanilla flavoring. They just didn’t have a good pancake flavor. I hardly ever write reviews but this was a definite flop. I actually returned it to the store. They need to reformulate this product.

I purchased this pancake mix by mistake thinking it was the brand name version that has similar packaging. When I realized my error, I figured I would just doctor it up to make it better. While my normal boost tasted great, I ran out of batter and in the interest of time, just mixed it as required. My family was blown away by this batter without any special additions that are touted across the internet promising to improve box mix to homemade. In full disclosure, I always use half milk and half water, but even still, this pancake batter is phenomenal and I will purchase it again in the future. I highly recommend this pancake mix to anyone who wants a delicious and simple to prepare pancake. Enjoy!

I made my husband pancakes as soon as I received this mix. So easy and very fluffy and delicious pancakes. You only have to add water to the mix for excellent pancakes. I have added an egg or used milk in the past with these mixes but decided to try it without the upgrades and have to say I was surprised at how good they were. I like to keep this on hand in my pantry and will say that the zipper closure works very well to seal the bag in between uses.

We absolutely hate this pancake mix. They just stopped carrying the other brand we always buy. Will be bringing this one back for a return. This is ruining our family reunion pancake breakfast. Everyone thought it tasted like cake batter. Everyone hated it!
