Best one ever

I thought I'd buy this mix since my kid absolutely loves pancakes. He could eat them daily and we go through the normal sized boxes too frequently. Upon opening the bag, my first thought was that it smelled more like cake mix than pancake mix. After I made a few, the taste confirmed that they were sweeter than most pancakes. Even my son thought they were sweet. He (on his own) mentioned they tasted sweeter, and he's 5. After this HUGE pouch I won't be getting this again. They're good but too sweet for us.

Great pancake mix

It had been awhile since I made pancakes. I've done it five times with this mix and every time, no matter thin or thick batter I get the same rubbery, tough pancakes. There is no light and fluffy with this mix. I've never experienced this with any other complete pancake mix. The only positive thing about it is it's cheap price. As others have stated it has a weird cake mix aroma but I don't think the aroma translated into a a good flavor. Worst pancake mix I've had.

I didn't smell it at first but as soon as I added the wet ingredients to the mix it smelled like cupcake mix. We made the waffles and they tasted a little sweeter than what we were use to but they weren't bad. I was terribly disappointed that the zipper for the "resealable" part of the bag does NOT work...I really was counting on that since I was going to store it on it's side. now I had to put it into smaller airtight containers for storage.

So I bought this, it says it replaced the previous mix we got, which my son LOVED. They say this is the same/better but it is totally not the same. It has more of a dense texture or dryer, and taste like cupcake dough. I was so sad and disappointed. Won't get it again and not sure what to do with the bag I just got. Maybe try making cupcakes with it... :)

Easy delish pancakes

I thought theese pancakes were delicious. They almost taste like the Mc Donald pancakes but not as sweet ...family approved...I think most of the neg reveiws are coming from people who were attached to the previous brand. My only comaparison of mix is aunt jemimah ..ect. They do have a surprising cake batter smell but don't turn out very sweet or cakey. For the price, I would try them. Will be buying again.

If you want nasty cake tasting pancakes for breakfast, these are for you. When you open the bag, all you smell is the sickly sweet aroma of a gross boxed cake mix--the only thing this mix is good for is waffles. Even my 5 kids think these pancakes are nasty and refuse to eat them! Not worth the money!
