This replaced the Daily Chef pancake mix which replaed the Krusteaz pancake mix at our Sam's Club. We have been buying these pancake mixes for years. My kids eat pancakes every school morning for breakfast. The first time we made pancakes from this brand, my kids complained the pancakes tasted gross like cupcakes and wouldn't finish eating them. My husband and I then tasted them, and the kids were right. The pancakes were sickenly sweet and tasted like yellow cake. It was so awful I had to return it, and wow I am stuck buying smaller sized pancake mixes from the local grocery store. I wish Sam's would get rid of this and bring back one of the older items.

Most people who know me knows that I love me some member’s mark. This is terrible pancake mix. I think if you like to give kids allot of quantity and not enjoy them for yourself then it’s a bargain. But these taste just like jack in the box pancake’s. No lie. Returning the mic when I get the chance.

I thought maybe I had done something wrong the first time I used this mix but every time I’ve made pancakes with it they never turn out fluffy at all. Also tried waffles in my waffle iron using the mix and it was very runny, no matter what I did to adjust the measurements

I should have known, once I read “Just add water” sounded Too EASY… made a batch , added the water…. And we’ll it taste like a water pancake should. No flavor. It is fluffy however there is no pancake flavor there just taste like fluffy bland mixture. I even made a second batch added an egg and milk, and it was still gross. I will never buy a “just add water” mix again! I am not sure why there is so many reviews of people actually thinking this is good, but I think if your a true pancake enthusiast, you will agree with me. do not get this you will be disappointed!!

Absolute worst pancake mix I have ever bought from Sam's. When opened it smells like vanilla cake batter. Thought I'd give it a try and it tastes exactly like a really bad vanilla cake. I really tried to like this but after just two times of making pancakes with it I had to throw it out. Will never buy Member's Mark pancake mix again.

Have used this product for number of years with good results. More recent purchase --not so sure about buying again. Get the feeling when opening the bag for first time, maybe taking all contents out and throughly stir. Towards lower end of bag, seems to more foaming with taste off a bit. Next purchase will try Krusteaz which is a little different and at somewhat higher cost.
