Ok, first of all, I haven't used this to make pancakes yet. I bought it for a waffle mix. But it's delicious! I'm not sure why so many people didn't like it, but personal taste I guess. It does have a strong vanilla smell and flavor, which maybe turns off people who don't like vanilla, but my whole household loves this stuff. I'll purchase this over and over, so I hope Sam's keeps it in stock! Also, it's so easy. I generally prefer to make homemade pancakes, but like I said, I bought this to use as a waffle mix. My 14 year old son has moderate autism and loves waffles - so much that he asked for a waffle iron for his birthday,and wanted to learn how to make his own waffles. So I needed a mix that is tasty but also relatively easy to use. He has a hard time cracking eggs. So, I was thrilled to find this one that is not only delicious, but very easy to use. Just add water and a couple tablespoons of oil.

This pancake mix is complete… justa add water which makes it ideal for the kids living in my home. They ALWAYS want pancakes! The price is unbeatable and the quality and taste are great. It’s the first item i head toward whenever I go to Sams Club. You won’t be disappointed!

Best pancakes I've ever had!!! Smells and tastes like white cake. Added sprinkles and it was like funfetti pancakes!! Whole family loved them....kids ate more pancakes than I've ever seen them eat, even the toddler ate two 3-inch pancakes when she usually only eats 1/2

Literally the WORST tasting pancake mix I’ve ever had. What is that flavor? Soy? Vanilla? Too much sugar? Idk but it’s gross. I usually buy Bisquick pancake/waffle mix (not the all purpose mix) which is excellent. Assumed this would be comparable since the directions seemed the same. Everything is the same except the flavor and I could smell it the second I opened the bag that it was going to taste awful. Now, what do I do with 10 lbs of this garbage, lol?

we like the members mark, it tasted good enough and my kids liked them, but now the only I can find is this members mark, it taste bad, they don't rise so it taste and look like piece of rubber, I had to add eggs, milk, baking powder and butter for it to cook a little bit better. Please bring back the members mark brand or improve this one.

The mix is a good consistency and fluffy but it is so sweet it tastes like cake batter. I recently made vanilla confetti cupcakes for my daughters b day and this pancake mix tastes just like it. It?s just way too sweet for pancakes or biscuits or any kind of meal other than dessert. I love members mark stuff this just didn?t work

I think the title says it all. Was skeptical on first order (never seen a waffle mix that dir not reqired egg/s to be added. How simple can you get. But after trying a bag we are hooked. The taste excellent - particularly considering how quickly and inexpensively a batch can be whipped together. Of course it may help somewhat that our waffle iron is a very nice one from France.

I wish Sam's would bring back the Daily Chef Pancake mix...it was so much like my mother's homemade recipe and tasted better than any pancake mix on the market. I do not like this new kind at all...the Members mark pancake mix is so tough my family could hardly cut it with a knife! Taste isn't great either. Sorry Sam's Club...I'll pass on this product. I just can't find anything to like about it.

Found this was cheaper than buying it by the small box that other stores sell. Great taste. Pancakes or waffles come out great. We keep a scoop inside the bag so it is easier to get what we need out of it. We sometimes go through a lot of pancake mix and this was by far the cheapest we have found, yet the flavor is just as good, if not better, than the name brand. Everyone in the house adds their own personal touch to the mix too with fruit, cinnamon, chocolate, or peanut butter. I like that it will last a while instead of buying loads of box mix all the time.

I purchased this pancake mix by mistake thinking it was the brand name version that has similar packaging. When I realized my error, I figured I would just doctor it up to make it better. While my normal boost tasted great, I ran out of batter and in the interest of time, just mixed it as required. My family was blown away by this batter without any special additions that are touted across the internet promising to improve box mix to homemade. In full disclosure, I always use half milk and half water, but even still, this pancake batter is phenomenal and I will purchase it again in the future. I highly recommend this pancake mix to anyone who wants a delicious and simple to prepare pancake. Enjoy!
