This is a great short cut when you don't want to chop fresh Garlic. They only diwnside is there is now more liguid in it then Garlic so you have to use a spoon and drain it first.

I've never tried garlic in a jar however I decided to buy this I have to say that it's very good you have to use a little more than if you had a fresh piece of garlic but I really like it it's to go to if you need it quick

The Minced Garlic is mainly for cooking, Garlic Bread, other various foods, Seasoning meats, etc. After I put them in a Blender for a finer spread of Garlic for the bread and meats

I use garlic in judt about everything I cook. But hate to mess with fresh garlic. I use and habe been using tbis in all my recipes. Great quality and value.

I should have read the description more closely. I had previously gotten dried minced garlic and did not notice that this was in water. Had to order 2, which is a whole lot of garlic for one person, but the minced is more flavorful than granulated. I really like garlic, so guess I will be looking for recipes using lots of garlic!
