Is it just me, did I get a strange batch? I want to say the taste is so salty or is it the sour of the citric acid I don't know? But it really effects the taste of using it in cooking a whole lot, not in a good way. I'll try it again and this time add literally no slat in the recipe called for. It may get better in cooking then. But the price is just great I love that part. If the product tastes too salty altered outside of the taste of garlic.. it's basically a loser in my book. I've tried the Spice world brand too it did NOT have this problem. Anyone else had this problem? If I have to choose between price and true garlic taste , it's not a good choice to have. 2.7 stars rating because it's an affordable price but disappointing true garlic flavor at least the one I have.

Well, no peeling. Real cheap! Useful to freshen your breath and add to things while frying. I thought I would use it as a creative way to lessen my need for sugar. I thought there might be a connection between sugar consumption and weight gain. I've been to China, on stopovers, and China is a nice country. I think this is made in China, which will scare some people away. Nice flavor.

We have a curry I makea lot and it takes a lot of garlic. The only thing i do with whole cloves is dice and crush so this is one shortcut I take. I add the water too since it is very garlicy. Also make garlic butter to dip bread in. Don't add the water for that.

I love garlic in certain foods, I especially like to roast garlic and put it in pasta dishes. My problem is, when I buy it I never use it frequently enough to keep it from drying out in the fridge, and the jars of garlic that you get in the store are so expensive. I find that these jars will last forever and stay fresh when kept in the fridge. Can't beat the price either.

If you're like me and use a lot of garlic, because it's good for you, don't worry about how much is here. You'll be through it before you know it. I use about two of these in about a year. It's not sauced in vinegar like some. If you don't want chunks of garlic, the liquid in this jar of garlic is a great use.

Great taste. Convenient to use. I use a lot of garlic cooking. Members Mark Chopped Garlic saves me time in the kitchen peeling garlic. It’s great the way it is and has a nice fragrance that adds flavor to my dishes. However, I can mash it for even more flavor enhancement. Again. Makes my life in the kitchen easier.

I have been using this garlic for many years. I love not having to peel garlic cloves and chopping it up. This garlic is so quick and easy to use, it is more than a convenience, it is a delicious way of taking a chore out of cooking. It is very versatile and economical. It can be used in any recipe that calls for garlic. Tip: Add some to any bread dough you are making and watch the bread disappear so fast, you will wish you had made more loaves!

I have purchased this product twice. This simplifies cooking when I do not have time to peel and chop fresh garlic, plus the lowest price I have found make this a staple on my Sam's Club shopping list. ( plus I use the left over juice to simmer fresh vegetables in ! )
