Well, no peeling. Real cheap! Useful to freshen your breath and add to things while frying. I thought I would use it as a creative way to lessen my need for sugar. I thought there might be a connection between sugar consumption and weight gain. I've been to China, on stopovers, and China is a nice country. I think this is made in China, which will scare some people away. Nice flavor.

I use a lot of garlic, and this was a convenient size. My only complaint (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is that the bottom of the container is convex, which made it difficult to get the last of the garlic out. I did like the wide mouth of the container.

Sam's asked me to review this product, so I'll humor them. If you need minced garlic but not in an oil base, then this ought to work for you, as it's in a water base or is just the "garlic juice". It's not like a new flat-screen TV that has all sorts of bells & whistles; it's just minced garlic. We use it primarily on flatbread with some butter & we toast it. We also use it as an additive in certain recipes. It's also a good value if you use it often enough.

at 84, have grown, bought fresh, bought peeled, and finally..bought minced!! i have bought this product since introduced to by sam's!..seemed out of stock from local, so i ordered on line..one opened in fridge, spare in cupboard.. i am thru' preparing, as before,my uses of garlic..members mark has outstanding products under their own label..i buy only, if given a choice..this minced garlic in water, is a staple, no more choices needed! it is a great find!!

I have purchased this product twice. This simplifies cooking when I do not have time to peel and chop fresh garlic, plus the lowest price I have found make this a staple on my Sam's Club shopping list. ( plus I use the left over juice to simmer fresh vegetables in ! )

I love the product because I've had it before. When the product arrived there was liquid in the box the red lid was not cracked and still intact but yet when I squeezed both of them air escape. I live 40 minutes 1 way to Sam's so I have to make a special trip to them to return and get my money back.

Members Mark Minced Garlic has a good fresh taste. It’s the way to go if you use much garlic. The 48 ounce jar costs about the same as the 6 ounce size at the grocery store. It does require refrigeration, so the only draw back might be the container size. I will certainly buy it again!

I love garlic in certain foods, I especially like to roast garlic and put it in pasta dishes. My problem is, when I buy it I never use it frequently enough to keep it from drying out in the fridge, and the jars of garlic that you get in the store are so expensive. I find that these jars will last forever and stay fresh when kept in the fridge. Can't beat the price either.

If you're like me and use a lot of garlic, because it's good for you, don't worry about how much is here. You'll be through it before you know it. I use about two of these in about a year. It's not sauced in vinegar like some. If you don't want chunks of garlic, the liquid in this jar of garlic is a great use.
